Anyway back to Hindus being oppressed. Hindus have a literacy almost 10% higher than muslims.
what is really in minority in india is liberalism and sense, regardless of community... and mere literacy does not make a person educated... we must think of this - india has the highest number of colleges in the world and most number of college graduates per year, yet can we say that india ( and hindus being a large proportion ) is really a educated and scientific place??
in 2009, the "council for scientific and industrial research" ( csir ), a big indian central government supervisory body in delhi, was the supervisor of a critical government program to get a microprocessor designed locally... rather than change its way to achieve that, csir seems to have published some "research" into the benefits of "gau mutr" ( cow urine ) as per the declarations of "ancient vedic science"... the microprocessor project is dead... it will be, yes??
Muslims are about 40% of the jail population in some states
1. i believe lot of muslims create problems among themselves by not caring for the core concepts of islam, leaving all that to the mullahs who end up perverting them... most
recent ordinary indian muslims think islam is all about prayer and ritual and nothing about real-life... this denies them the simplifications or solutions to many real-life problems offered by quran and history and contemporary world leaders ( muslim )... thinks like property cases go on for decades even among muslims in india.
2. muslims are in minority in india and this should have actually made us prideful and self-respecting... yet many of us get involved in hooliganism, theft, mafia, smuggling, extortion etc... i will compare this with another minority, the parsi's ( zoroastrians ), about whom i have not heard of being fillers of jail cells... there is some problem here, yes??
3. many money-lenders in india are muslim, and they give loans on interest basis, nothing different from non-muslim lenders or the corporate/government banks... and therefore these muslim lenders complicate things and get into forcible loan recovery or threatening and create a situation ( unnecessary ) where they end up in jail, taking with them other muslims who were some hooligans who had helped them in this evil business.
4. then there are other domestic disputes that arise within muslim families, whether between children and parents or between husband and wife... unnecessary when many such disputes have been resolved in the quran... and the rest can be resolved by common sense derived from modern world understandings.
and their percentage is around 3% in civil services while they make up 14% of the population.
i believe muslims in india should have been either in business and politics and the entertainment industry... unfortunately, they have conditioned themselves to remain poor by mostly going into small-time business ( like automotive spare parts shops ), middle-class professions ( like software engineer ) or even lower poor classes.
