However range can be extended but was not possible only bcoz of political reasons.....

In real Agni V has range of +8000km........did'nt u hear that what Drdo sad that Agni V is much sophisticated like USA ICBM'S in technical phenomenon.

So, Does it cover our primary adversary as of now ? YES
Is it technologically competent to reach it's destination ? YES

No, if you read the article and knew what you were talking about then you would understand this topic is about QUALITY not quantiy and not range. Yes China posses ICBMs with ranges of 13,500 km which, obviously, is superior in range to Agni V but that is a mute poitn as Agni V was not inteded to compete with this. Agni VI is already in the works which will be ready in 2-3 years with a range of 10-15,000 km which will be comparable with the DF 31A in range and most likely superior in quality and accuracy. This guy is just being realistic- no Indian member is saying India's ICBM arsenal is a match for China's-yet!

50ton missile what can carry 1000-1500kg payload to 5000km. That is nowhere near US technology...

edit; Indian RV's are cumbersome when compared to US designs.
