@araz There is a disagreement I have here with bold part but that focus more on Indian fallacy in approach which can be corrected going forward.

We still have to buy more because -
1- In quest to choke you, we are diversifying our purchase sources and to give a substantial share to each, we need more fund allocation.
2- China is always there - Pak being a threat or not.
3- Indian global aspirations. We aspire not for greed, but to survive. If we dont, our 1.2 billion population will go berserk and all we will get is chaos.

However India can offset this arms buyer seller relationship with other means. Make in India is thus a necessity.

The funny thing is that when Pakistanis would be doing something similar the Indians would be spitting venom. We are supposed to applaud this Indian move? I don't think so. This is pure desperation and a clear cut acknowledgement that the deal is on. If anything, the PAF needs to be applauded for changing their strategy for once and ditching their reliance on one single fighter. You know which fighter I'm referring to.

The ball is in Russian court. If they offer the fighter and we can reach a deal it will do our relationship a world of good. Russia Pakistan relations are already very much improved and this deal will make things only better.

when india lobbying over Pak F-16 deal and USA refused concession in F-16 price to Pakistan. Then what price was paid by Bharties to USA. Now it is behind the scene but sooner or later result will be out that USA have a child baby or baba.
On recent Pak Russia SU-35 deal indian crying have zero value because Indian gifted her verginity to USA. Now Pakistan and Russia have a defence pact and significanse of su-35 is important for safeguard of gawader port and game changer CEPEC.

International relations are about securing ones interests rather than having illicit relations. LOL hate to burst your bubble. If anything, China is the architect of this deal. After having placed an order themselves they would love to see Pakistan acquire these fighters to secure the skies over CPEC. Both China and Pakistan acknowledge the dire need to secure our naval assets. What other fighter could do this job better than the Su-35?
