ISLAMABAD: Military authorities have said India have got issued red notices from Interpol against five Pakistanis on their alleged involvement in Mumbai blasts by showing two among them as serving majors in Pakistan army while both of these majors including Maj Samir Ali and Major Iqbal have been retired from army since long and are now living as civilians.

Military authorities told Online Friday intelligence agencies had taken into custody both these retired majors and interrogated them following the statement by David Headlay. Nothing special had come to open during the investigation. One Samir Ali Maj (Retd) was reported to be class fellow of David Headlay and later both of these military officers were retired. They have no connection whatsoever with ISI or Pakistan army and they are leading civilians life.

What are they doing and are maintaining relations with whom and if Interpol has issued their red notices, it is the matter related to interior ministry, authorities said.

On the other hand David Headlay whom US had handed over to India in Mumbai attacks incident was on the pay roll of FBI and Pakistan had sought access to him. India in this connection is refusing. The whole affair is complex and endeavor was made to pressurize Pakistan through Interpol. On the other hand cases against all the suspected persons in Mumbai blasts are pending hearing in Pakistan courts but no officer or jawan of Pakistan army is involved in this incident, authorities said.

Indian lie about showing 2 retired Pak Army officers as serving majors to Interpol stands exposed

the Indians are digging their typical habit or lying and manipulating (aadat se majboor) Any confession coming from Headly is seriously doubtful considering his life history and noobiness!

let them keep day-dreaming, nothing wrong with it

the boy who cries wolf cries wolf again; who gets the last laugh when everybody forgets and/or doesn't care about these so-called RCNs in the first place (which incidentally, aren't even enforceable due to jurisdictional constraints) :)

India could lie but not the Interpol!!!! Those made the reports didn't signify these...

1) How and why 39 and 46 years old can 'retire' from the Army???
2) If they retired than it must be after 26/11.

Interpol now have a pic of HASHIM, Syed Abdur Rehman....

Pakistan hands them over or not but to be on Interpol wanted list is more than enough. :)

They would be handed over just like the rest of them been since musharraf's era. IMF, USA will make sure that happens before they deliver the next check.

Don't count on your American buddies. If USA has no leverage over Pakistan to get AQ Khan, forget about getting access to anyone else which isn't of any concern to America.

Well they managed to get him in house arrest and had his image tarnished with the help of Musharraf. A.Q Khan is a hero of Pakistan not prisoner. Last time we saw Mr. Khan in an interview, he didn't have very good words about Pakistani army and it's establishment. Also musharraf didn't have good words for A.q Khan either.

BTW...is he still on house arrest or he's allowed to travel around without restrictions.?

Whatever Mush did was wrong ..........but now after Musharraf is gone .Dr AQ Khan is free to go any where .He is free to travel to any place he wants.....but obviously there are sum security protocols Dr. AQ Khan has to follow and thts it.

Pakistan will never handover any army personal retired or serving neither to US nor India. US has repeatedly said that ISI guys are helping out the Taliban but have never asked for any one in particular to be handed over because they know that it will not happen. They tried to get Hameed Gul on UN terrorist list but China put a technical hold on it and it never got approved, A Q Khan's case is also an example. Most of the people handed over were civilians who were fighting a jihad against US or that is what they believed.
India can forget about anyone being handed over.... weather it be Hafiz Saeed or army personal.

Be careful what you wish for my friend.

I would be very very afraid of awakening a sleeping giant if I were you.
