I won't blame ostrich behavior of these Indians on Kashmir issue. Their case is too weak to be defended logically. Denial is the best way forward.

Indeed. India didn't churn out Pakistan either. Both gained from the British after British India was partitioned.

Congress didn't asked for partition. It was Muslim league that wanted a separate country for Muslims of sub continent. Many in India to this day feel Pakistan was a mistake.
