Indian have smallest Brains in the world-Reserach by Indian Institute of Technology Hayderabd reveals

The study says small brain, not small skull. I am not sure if this was an intentional attempt or just your small brain

I have a small skull but as far as I know I don't think I am an idiot. Maybe there is some extra thing that should be looked at in this study, like the number of folds in the brain.

MasterCard, Cognizant and Pepsi are not critical to the running of the human race.

That is true.

Think of this. With the number of engineers and scientists in India and with the big industrial base India should have had a Mars settlement at least ten years ago.

TCS and Infosys are decades-old companies employing thousands of computer engineers but they have not produced a single operating system and a single microprocessor which things are the two fundamental elements in any classical computer. Nothing from TCS and Infosys to the world.

They are nothing. They should be shut down.

Huge amount of Pakistanis have exactly the same brain size profiles as Indians...

Brain size also depends on fetal and childhood nutrition like overall body size. A 5 feet individual obviously will have a smaller brain than a 6 feet tall man. But the brain size difference among human is not that important compared to neuron connecting with each other.

They measured 100 brains and were able to come to a conclusion? Talk about small sample size. I call bs on this study.

Always love your intelligent contribution in the sea of inanity..

Stunted brain and body tell us about malnourished children and mothers.

Sad aspect as innocent children are suffering.

And very avoidably. The government has spent money on erecting the world's tallest statue and on purchasing two equivalents of the American Air Force One and is spending on constructing a new parliament building in Delhi.

Other such financial, material and human resources being diverted unnecessarily.

I take it you don't understand the word "nuance".

What is the thought behind that 2000 plus crore statue of V. Patel at Modi's home state...and that was mostly made in China, the enemy country, lopsided priorities here.

In Pakistan now such extravagant splurges and vulgar display is not likened and appreciated.

PM IK has cut the expenditure of PM house by 65%, and auctioned almost all the luxury cars.

Points to the fact that many Indians have small brains and likes conspicuous consumption and useless gaudy display of wealth of the rulers, the public office holders who should set the precedent for savings and decency.

I suppose because Patel was a closet Hindutvadi. I don't think the BJP would have raised a statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh who was a communist revolutionary until death. From my thread :
I will conclude with the last moments of Bhagat Singh’s life, as reported by his close associate Manmathnath Gupta, he writes:

“When called upon to mount the scaffold, Bhagat Singh was reading a book by Lenin or on Lenin. He continued his reading and said, ‘Wait a while. A revolutionary is talking to another revolutionary’. Bhagat Singh continued to read. After a few moments, he flung the book towards the ceiling and said, ‘Let us go’.” [Emphasis added]
Yet it is funny that some small Hindutvadi groups on occasion have used the name of Bhagat Singh on their banners to announce something.

Indeed.

That is fantastic. Lead from the front.

I think I remember PDF posts mentioning the cars part.

Why only rulers ? I will mention two instances of Indian businessmen doing gaudy display. One is Subrata Roy, chairman of Sahara Group who spent 500 crores on the twin weddings of his two sons. Another is of course the 27-storey bookcases-shaped "house" of Modi's friend Mukesh Ambani. His 168 cars take up one storey and there is a private temple inside the "house". 27 storeys, and not far from this building live people in jhuggis, four people to a room. Fellow rich man Ratan Tata has this to say of Ambani's house :
Public reception

Tata Group former chairman Ratan Tata said Antilia is an example of rich Indians' lack of empathy for the poor. Tata said, "The person who lives in there should be concerned about what he sees around him and asking can he make a difference. If he can not, then it's sad because this country needs people to allocate some of their enormous wealth to finding ways of mitigating the hardship that people have." "It makes me wonder why someone would do that. That's what revolutions are made of.

the public office holders who should set the precedent for savings and decency.

In this I commend Delhi's chief minister Arvind Kejriwal of the Aam Aadmi Party who has cut down on government expenses, IIRC.

If brain mass co-related with intelligence then elephants and whales would have built a much more advanced civilization than humans by now and probably dinosaurs have already started a hyper advanced nomadic space faring civilization. It maybe comforting to find and share speculative ideas of inferiority of neighboring populations, but it will do little to help uplift the morbid state of affairs you guys have ran yourself into. Irrespective of our various assumptions about genetic efficiency what matters are the actions that groups of people are taking which directs the course of future for better or worse.

What is the thought behind that 2000 plus crore statue of V. Patel at Modi's home state

Found this article :
Following the claims and counter claims to Patel's legacy, a cover story in Frontline magazine says a 'cabal of self-confessed Hindu nationalists" consistently talks up Patel, almost always in a face-off against Nehru, the latter the subject of "shrill denunciation"

Written by political commentator AG Noorani, the article argues now that those lauding Patel at this moment have a clear motive: "To discard Indian nationalism in favour of Hindu nationalism and what goes with Indian nationalism, its secular credo."

It was Mahatma Gandhi who picked Nehru over party boss Patel to be his successor. Despite Patel's huge achievements as a party chief and as a funds collector, it was Nehru who was Gandhi's choice.

The piece says, "Nehru was cultured and refined. Patel was coarse to a degree. Nehru had a world view. Patel was ignorant of world affairs. Nehru was great despite his serious flaws and grave failures. Patel was small and mean despite his admirable qualities. Nehru’s foreign policy was seriously flawed. But what an image he projected to the world for years as Prime Minister of newly independent India."

Even Patel's friends among the British diplomats could not deny his communal sympathies or his arrangements with RSS leaders, the article argues. It quotes from historical records, writings of various leaders and historians to paint a picture of a man who was "rabidly communal in his outlook", a man whose dislike of Muslims hardened into "antipathy" towards them.

According to Noorani, in Hyderabad, Patel turned a blind eye to the massacre of Muslims, in Kashmir, he defended the RSS when Nehru complained of its activities; in post-Partition Delhi, he insisted that there was widespread anger about Muslims being allowed to go about openly in the streets, eventually going on to protest Nehru's view that Muslim refugees who evacuated their homes should be allowed to return. Even in inviting the Hindu Mahasabha and RSS to join the Congress, Patel is reported to have said those who "ride on two horses" will have to go to Pakistan.

"Would such a man have brought lustre to India’s reputation in the world? And what kind of legacy would he have bequeathed to a newly independent India in its formative years? What kind of vision would he have projected to inspire our plural society with its composite culture and rich traditions? Patel was, instinctively, pro-industrialists and unsympathetic to labour. His vision was narrow; his concerns were limited. As Nye noted, he was intolerant of dissent. Let alone communists, even the Congress Socialist Party received short shrift from him. He was the quintessential Hindu communalist."
