Indian has withdrawn from Doklam, not us: China

Beijing, Aug 28 (IANS) China on Monday said that India has withdrawn its troops from Doklam but Chinese troops will "remain in the region" and exercise their "sovereignty over the region".

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that Chinese border troops will "continue to patrol in Donglong", which India refers to as Doklam, in the Sikkim sector.

"On the afternoon of August 28, the Indian side pulled back all the Indian troops and equipment to the Indian side of the boundary and the Chinese personnel have verified this," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hu Chunying said.

"The Chinese side will continue to exercise its sovereignty and uphold its territorial integrity in accordance with historical conventions," she added.

Asked if the disengagement was from both sides, Hua repeated the same statement.

China's statement is in contrast to India stating on Monday that both countries have agreed to "disengage" in Doklam where their armies have been on a standoff since the middle of June, sharply escalating tensions.

India's Ministry of External Affairs in a statement said that during bilateral communications, "we were able to express our views and convey our concerns and interests".

"On this basis, expeditious disengagement of border personnel at face-off site at Doklam has been agreed to, and is ongoing," India said.

Just like Indians cheered for an Indian soldier kicking a Chinese soldier in the butt and sent him flying only turned out to be the other way around. Indians are always busy gettting themselves humiliated.

I didn't want to say this but if you remember Japan then you wouldn't have said this.

Didn't indians said Doklam is disputed territory between Bhutan & China, they were there to protect Bhutan? So now they admit Doklam is Chinese territory & withdrew. Pussies.

To Chinese Posters:

1. Doklam was Chinese territory at the first place. so u remain in the region. what is victory in that.

To Indian Posters:
1. until Indian MEA doesn't say anything on status of Road at Doklam, we don't know who is the victor.
If china starts buiding Road at Doklam and India at Laddakh Lake area then it is give and take.
if china is building road at Doklam and Indian Army remain tourist then victory to china. no doubt abt it.
We know the real victor only after months from here. not today or tomorrow.

If India is caving in under pressure from China, then in coming days we would be most unreliable strategic partner
for the US & Japan.

Lossers after stand - off:
1. Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan & Sri Lanka: They might face wrath of Indian pressure in coming days.
There is stiff chances India might show them there true place in world order. No body going to come to their rescue. if Indian troops start moving to Afghanistan then PA prepare for US Air Force Strikes in Pakistan as and when.

Anyone can kick a person who has his back turned on him :p:, you can only expect such from a Chinese. Should have avoided all this bravado and warnings, now you have to end up humiliated.

I am disappointed by Chinese decision. They want to allow the the snake to prosper?
They should have forced them out without any dialog at all. This is the only language they understand. Look it how they are acting after the agreement even though there is still no proof that China won't build the road. China should give war to this war monger nation.

How come hundrends of millions of Indians cheered for that " super kick" in the first place before they learned the Indian is the guy who received that kick?
