If India had not pulled off its support to LTTE back in the late 80s and early 90s, Sri Lanka would have been fighting this war for the next 300 hundred years and eventually lost. You should thank your stars that India pulled off and it ended in 30 years.

Now , the intelligent thing to do would be not to provoke India again with statements like these if you don't wish to get back in a similar situation . Bloody hospital bombers.

SL needs to understand that India cant let the security of billion+ people be jeopardised by a handful of Sinhalese on a small island.

Sinhalese need to get their act right and focus on their economy and well being of all SL people including Tamils. The focus should be economy and not needling India.

Sinhalese should not offer a base to US in 1971 or to China.

And Sinhalese should not give refuelling to Pak in Indo-Pak war.

Sinhalese should remain neutral for the prosperity of SL.

SL is a sovereign state - no question about that. As a sovereign state it needs to fulfill the promise it made to India in using Indian defence assets and fulfill couple of other responsibilities as well.

1. Implement 13 plus amendment in its constitution as it promised India
2. Investigate war crimes and punish those responsible as per UN resolution
3. Stay away from the big players game in Indian Ocean and maintain its sovereignty

Till now only Indian Tamils seem to have had a thing against Lankans, but now these guys have recently started to pi$$ off other Indians as well.
