Don't forget the the potential aircraft business ( Replacement for PC3 orion). China can sell equivalent type aircraft to Pakistan, so more business for China.

After the news of a naval asset been transfered to China, this incident of insecurity can be used to divert the attention of general public and move away from the US umbrella .

China is the beneficiary and it is 100% proved.

Talking of speculation, there's only one country that benefits from this attack.

This attack now creates more doubts in America's mind about the safety of Pakistan's nukes. That means worse relations with US. Automatically Pakistan gravitates towards that one country. The more Pakistan becomes internationally isolated and dependent on that country, more the brotherhood. For example - North Korea, Burma. Now brotherhood can be interpretaed by different people differently here, but as per this forum norm, we'll take it as something sacrosanct.

Unquestionably, this attack was carried out by China, as the sole benefactor of such an attack.

I know its speculation, but strong speculation indeed.

China does have motive but it's cancelled because when China needs something they ask Pakistan and Pakistan provides.

India has motive also. Nothing cancels out the Indian motive. So it is more likely to be Indian (or whatever other nation) then Chinese.

Dont worry you Indians, Pakistan still has two more PC-3 aircrafts and alternative are Atlantis which can be a replacement for PC-3s and PRC is also builiding some similar aircrafts for Pakistan which are scheduled to be deleivered soon perhaps.

China's motive would only be to show Pakistan it needs another base and Chinese naval presence.

Pakistan has probably already asked for this. It's China that Pakistan want in the region so China doesn't need to do anything.

Well obviously a strong Pakistan is in the benifit of China since westren China is land locked and Pakistan is the only country which can provide it an easy access through our network of motorways and highways to the Middle East and Europe with a fewer cost. One thing i want to clarify to Indians that you think that whole the Pakistan is a mess up right now which is just your preception. The real thing is quite different, Pakistan is a bigh country and all the routine business activites are running quite smoothly here and these one or two kind of attack mostly in the westren side of Pakistan do not pose any big challange to the economy of Pakistan.
