Everything that is now happening inside Pakistan benefits India. Let me list a few and leave it for those who read if India is responsible or not.

1. Dis crediting of Pak as a nation to a point that it has now become natural for the world to look at pak first even before N Korea when ever things go wrong.

2. Pak army is engaged on both E & W borders - something that did not happen from 1947 till date.

3. Pak armed forces & the ISI now stand alienated from their citizens who now see them either with hostility or suspicion.

4. The nation has reached a point wherein explosions take place virtually every day. It has become so common that they often do not get the headlines.

5. Pak now borrows to spend on its defence either to match India or to gain an edge.

6.The nation is living virtually on borrowed money. The money lenders do not mind lending till it suits them. Someday it will not .. then ?

7. Pak has systematically & in a short sighted manner eroded all the pillars in its society & polity to a point that the GOP in Islamabad is different form the GOP that functions from Pindi.

8 . Terrorists groups are running amok within the nation and while there are rational people who see the disadvantages of nurturing them and the Islamabad GOP wants them to be done away with, the Pindi GOP does not and will not allow this to happen as the non state actors are its strategic assets.

When these and similar events are happening within Pak executed by ppl in Pak itself why would India like to intervene ? Pak is doing a splendid job for India by itself.

The only concern is that once the can of worms is split there needs to be some central agency to apportion the blame to. This slot the Islamabad GOP fits perfectly. Quite like Bahadur Shah Zafar who died in exile in Burma for a mutiny he neither started, controlled or had anything to do with.

Generally the word Pakistan is thought of as the name of a terrorist organisation linked to Al Quaeda. Its only when US drones attack Pakistan, that people realize that its the name of a place somewhere, where OBL was living. And noone bother reading it in any detail.

Talking of speculation, there's only one country that benefits from this attack.

This attack now creates more doubts in America's mind about the safety of Pakistan's nukes. That means worse relations with US. Automatically Pakistan gravitates towards that one country. The more Pakistan becomes internationally isolated and dependent on that country, more the brotherhood. For example - North Korea, Burma. Now brotherhood can be interpretaed by different people differently here, but as per this forum norm, we'll take it as something sacrosanct.

Unquestionably, this attack was carried out by China, as the sole benefactor of such an attack.

I know its speculation, but strong speculation indeed.

This does not appears to be India's folly

Our army / anti terror recently killed some Chechnyans in mission including some women who were militant's colleagues etc

This may have been a retaliatory attack - these were ex Russian type trained military soldiers who were at war with Russia later they migrated to Pakistan from Afghanistan to escape Russian special forces

The only connection if any would be if these soldiers were promised (advance weapons , and funds) by CIA or RAW to conduct a suicide attack and as return their remaining comrades would get funds and money and passage to safe zones.

If they had not attacked the Orions I would have said 100% ok these were retaliatory attacks due to mission vs Chechnyans but this is a bit confusing ...
