I am seeing lots of crocodile tear by the Indians about the elephants but these same pathetic Indians enjoy the killing of innocent Bangladeshis by the b******s BSF when they do not get bribe money from them.

Elephants do not know that they are in India or in Bangladesh, but Humans know and even after knowing if they want to violate a country's boundary the fatal fate is deserved.

But while saying so I am deeply sad about the death of the elephants as we are not inhuman like these Indians. May be these indians term these elephant as their god ... Lord Ganesh that's why shedding these crocodile tears. Otherwise they might not even done it considering the way they cheer the death of unarmed cow trader those who are killed not providing enough bribe money to the BSF.

What Amartya Sen said is based on UN data and HDI. Just check it out... Indians lagged behind Bangladesh in most of these. That's why he said so. I am using iPad now so can't post details link. Just google it you will find the real picture of India and will find apart from Bollywood movies there is another India and that is poor, under developed, hungry and malnourished.

Just to add that about this low, medium difference. This is only due to the difference in per capita GDP which Bangladesh deliberately put low to remain at LDC to get it's advantage by measuring it based on 1995 base which does not count any industry which emerged after that into GDP. This include most of the private bank, trading houses, private mobile companies, real estate companies, private universities, private tv channels and many more which now makes bulk of the bd economy.

This has also been mentioned by Mr. Sen. If measured with proper base year Bangladesh will have enough GDP to be in the medium category.

West Bengal has same GDP of Bangladesh with half the population, thus proved and average person in West Bengal spends twice of kipte misers in Bangladesh. How hard it is to understand for Bangladeshis. I know they are not really brighter lot but this is simple math.

If you look at the HDI map, all neighboring states of BD has HDI above 6. Although bangladeshis been able to pull down Assams HDI to just below 6 and West Bengal & Tripuras HDI to six and half with their relentless migration.

I do not wish to hear such words from some one who belongs to Dalit manifested society. Go preach to your country men first to treat the Dalits fairly, treating woman in a better way and not to mention stop aborting child only when they are found to be female.

Regarding GDP even with present GDP WB has lower GDP then Bangladesh. N population of Bangladesh is 148 million n WB 90 million.

I went to WB and knows about it well ... Do not try to paint it in different way. The state which has only 10% industrialization, a vast number of people remain hungry and below poverty line is in no way to be compared to others.
