Americans are paranoid. If public wanted to attack the consulate, they would have the day security barricades were removed from their embassy in Delhi. Typical of yankee doodles.... everything east of Europe looks all the same to them!

Just came to know today that US doesn't give Indian consulates the kind of privileges that we give to US consulates, like, we give US consulate employees full diplomatic immunity, they give us only consulate immunity. Those extra privileges must be withdrawn.

"My country, right or wrong!" - at the very least, don't insist that India is in the right and fighting for what's moral and just, rather than fighting for the right to keep the cheap petty criminal fruits of human trafficking for its diplomats.

Values are what people fight for. You are fighting to hold the freedom of India's consuls to do what they want - in violation of international treaties! - higher than the rights of victims of human trafficking. Is that really what you want your country to become?

The deadline to surrender the old IDs is tomorrow, hope our Govt. will go ahead with the process without caring for any pressure that might come from US tomorrow.

India is going to get burnt playing with fire. Messing with the US is not a good idea especially for a weak 3rd world country like India.

Messing with the US is like messing with Mexican drug cartels. You either cooperate with them by being their puppet or they kill you if you disobey them. India did well to obey the Americans so far and have India on their good side. If India tries to take on the US, India will suffer.

India is still an extremely weak and poverty stricken country. You are in no position to disobey American orders.

We don't kow-tow because we can handle ourselves. India is not as strong as China so you don't have that luxury. I'm talking about 3rd world countries like India. India has no choice but to obey America because you don't have the power or will to resist.
