look fact is reason doesnt matter..why would pakistani navy aircraft go near indian boarder and being shot down..

why isnt important..

i think the crew is extremly lucky and have to be thankful that they were not Shot down..

i am 100% sure if it had been pakistani it would have been shot down without warning..

regarding returning the heli it would be extremly unprofessional if its returened..the creqw however should be returned but after investigation..these days going into somebody airspace so deep in light heli isnt a joke/misake either.

aoo g sab galay milain aur indian pechay haath rakh kar chora ghopain.. aur pakistan pechay haath rakh kar jaibain check karain hosakhta hey koi paisay shaisay rakhay hoon pocket may :P

. . . .

Pakistan Army didn't CAPTURE the helicopter....it just made it land. Capture means that they went into India, took over the chopper and brought it back. The helicopter was just impounded........and then the anchorperson is like '....sketchy details emerged....' lol wtf.....such bullshyt from none other than Indian media!

Well let's hope the Chopper enters it's own airspace safely, I mean there was an occasion during the Kargil conflict, when an Indian transport plane mistakenly entered our airspace where an Anza knocked out one of it's engines, realising his mistake, the Indian pilot quickly dived back into the sanctuary of Indian air space, however entering from Pakistani side, the Indian gunners naturally assumed it to be a Pakistani plane and opened fire on it........reports said it managed to make an emergency landing.

It was a junk chetah if it was a su-30mki landed forcefully or by emergency landed in Pakistani air fields wonder what would happens .

Su-30 MKI's are not nearly as easy to force down as Cheetah Helicopters. I think some had allegedly violated Pak airspace during the attack in Mumbai, but PAF could not make them land forcefully.. Not sure if PAF has got any new advanced gadgetry since then.

Only pain is for Indian Media who fail to keep the audience on TV channels. Feel sorry for them.

Lol the pics of "locked on" su-30s were shown to the americans.

Also when PAF forced the gnat ... the pilot was smiling.. and said how would they(PAF) fly such a sophisticated jet... today it sits in our museum...

As JonAsad said.. it belongs to our museum ...

Chopper row resolved: Indian Army helicopter back in Kargil

New Delhi: Just hours after four Indian Army personnel, onboard an Army helicopter, were detained in Pakistan after the chopper entered their airspace, reportedly due to bad weather, the issue has been resolved. Army sources say the chopper with the crew has returned to Kargil.

The Cheetah helicopter of the Army Aviation, which was flying from Leh to Bhimbat, was first reported to have gone missing and was then escorted down by Pakistani forces. Three Indian officers, including the pilot and co-pilot, and a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) onboard were taken into custody.

The airspace violation happened at 1 pm PST in Olding in the Kargil sector in ***************** Kashmir (***). Sources say that the chopper strayed 20 kilometres inside the Pakistani territory, as claimed by the authorities there.

"The chopper strayed deep inside our territory. The crew is safe and investigations are on", General Athar Abbas, Spokesman of the Pakistan Military had said.

The Director General of Military Operations on both sides are in touch.

The Army, meanwhile, has said that the chopper's landing in Pakistan was not a deliberate intrusion.
