Indian CAS tol visit BD and take salute during BMA passing out parade

As I indicated earlier the Indian CAS will be taking salute from the new graduates of the BMA course. Does this mean our army has become subservient to the Indian army or is this merely a symbolic gesture intended to humiliate us?

Yeah well thats too bad, cause Indian Army is already subservient to Nepal, since Nepals Army chief took salute at the passing out parade of Indian Military Academy in 2009. So as per your logic Bangladesh Army will be subservient to Nepal.

Who really knows who were behind Pilkhana. It may also be BNP. Being defeated at the poll, its leadership used the discontent in the BDR and masterminded a rebellion.

It sent another special group to kill the BDR Chief and other military officers as a revenge against the treatment the two BNP sons received at their hands.

Well, there can be many hypothesises in a rebellion like that. I would not deny also a hand of India as a revenge for killing BSF troops in Padua.

But, what is the relationship between that rebellion and taking salutes by Indian CAS at the graduation ceremony? Do you really want to show disrespect to a visiting dignitary?

In recent testimony at the BDR trials it was disclosed that several meetings between the mutineers and an AL MP was arranged before the incident. Why is that MP not on trial?

@ Army is always trained with some aim/missions. What is our aim/mission ? Our aim is to defend our motherland from the foreign agression. Which are the countries beside our country. It is India and Myenmar. Our whole training is based on motivition. It is on this motivition the young officers and common soldiers fight for the existance of a nation and give their life.

@ Our all training exercises are based against India and to a lesser extend towards Burma. Now at the very outset if we see the face of Indian General, I donnot know what would happen !!!! Is the govt is trying to show the new imputs that look India is our best friend. My foot !!!! We donnot want to show this gesture.

It is not abnormal for CAS to receive salute from cadets in the country of visit,has happened numerous times.It is the way of the armed forces respecting the guest.Probably these traditions world over are new to you,as you are unaware.No worries,learning is a continuous process.You should be happy that you learned something new today.
