Do you guys recall the rather random statement by Imran Khan a few days about ordering the Air Force to shoot down any drone intruding into our territory irrespective of whether they were from the west or the east. Did he have access to some intel or a warning was given? was something expected?

Was the event in Mian Chunnu related to his statement? Did PAF shoot down a foreign drone? The two explosion theory supports that possibility. The first explosion from the missile hitting the drone and second one from the drone crashing.

Another possibility is crash of a supersonic missile being tested. It has a turbine and it will have enough velocity to create the crater even without a war head.

So it seems that the aircraft jettisoned it's external load , drop tanks and the weapons it was carrying.
