Leon..if you look at the post 5 by spitfighter we had a decent argument ..the came eastwatch with his usual rant and racial comments like ugly looking and all those rant insulting my country..now you tell me ,you along with other Bangladeshis here dont like insulting your country..its the same with us too...we all defend our country and criticize other countrys too..but is it necessary to use insulting languages??he is a senior member here..he should have known better...

Eastwatch pointed to the facts of indian shoddy engineering job and trying to flich money and making living out of Bangladesh. Now if you and rest of indians take facts on ground and take it as insult rather than learn and improve, no one can stop you jumping off the cliff.

And indian insulting Bangladesh, that happens everyday by indian BSF, by indian officials, by indian media and iby ndians here in the forum. Its not new, look yourself in the mirror.

2X120MW SIDDHIRGANJ POWER PLANT
BHEL misses Nov 7 deadline for commencement

Commencement of the units is being delayed due to rows over acceptance of a ‘repaired’ gas turbine and the development of physical infrastructure at the plant, they said, adding that the company ‘lobbying’ for acceptance of the repaired turbine.

BHEL in April informed EGCB that a turbine fell from the trailer on its way to Chennai from Hyderabad for shipment to Bangladesh. The company then took back the turbine to Hyderabad for overhauling and few weeks later informed EGCB that the turbine had ‘no damage’.

Officials of EGCB and its consultant KEMA International later inspected the turbine and concluded that the turbine was repaired. EGCB then appointed a British firm, Lloyds, to inspect the turbine and it is now reviewing the report, power officials said.

The EGCB, however, asked BHEL to extend the guarantee period of the turbine to four years from existing two years, they said adding that BHEL was also asked to guarantee that it would compensate for economic loss caused by any unscheduled closure relating to the gas turbine. EGCB officials said BHEL was yet to respond to the conditions.

Indian state minister for commerce and power Jairam Ramesh and special assistant to the chief adviser M Tamim on Saturday visited the Siddhirganj power plant and discussed the delay in starting operation and the ‘repaired’ gas turbine.

Ramesh requested Tamim to settle the turbine issue as soon as possible and accept the turbine.

And to further proof the point this is not the first time BHEL installed damaged turbine. BHEL renovated turbine (for Gurdaspur, india) not only failed but also failed to produce power it was suppose to generate.

Renovated BBMB turbine damaged
24 MW additional loss to Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan

The turbines had been giving trouble ever since their renovation was completed by the BHEL. It was proposed that the after renovation the generation capacity of the turbines would be increased to 25.2 MW. However, the generation of renovated turbines never reached the proposed target. Due to this the generation capacity of the turbines was set at 24 MW at a board meeting. The PSEB authorities as members of the board demanded that BHEL should be penalised for the loss of generation.

The article states that the project delay was due to a delay in supplying a turbine. It nowhere states that the plant shut down due to the faulty turbine

Looks like indians also growing habit of shoddy understnding of English. This is the same broken plant where BHEL installed damaged and then repaired turbine. And also talks about how indian minister went to Dhaka to push for accepting damaged turbine.

I know you are desperate to skip these incriminating evidence and flip this page of the thread with bs but I will be one step ahead of you.

And you post an article about a BHEL turbine which got damaged in 2006 to prove your point?

Listen, post a credible report which says the BHEL turbine in Bangladesh was damaged. If you can't back your claims with credible sources, then SHUT UP!

The news is over 6 months old.Show me news that the current shutdown is due to the faulty turbine in the current scenario. That the problem is due to faulty turbine

EGCB and KEMA had the time to inspect the turbine but apparently they didn't have the time to figure out whether or not they have enough gas to run it.

Man... these people are hilarious.

.
nobody builds gas plants and that itself is outright stupidity as GAS is quite unviable for countries which do not have sufficient gas sources

Look who is talking about BS!!

You haven't put forward a single credible source to back your claim. And yet you have the audacity to tell us Indians that we are spreading bs?

Go back to primary school before arguing over here.

He can criticize my country and if my country is done wrong then he can put valid points to say he was right but no need to insult my country otherwise you will receive the same amount of insult as you throw at us and need less to say it will be a mudslinging contest.

we understand you are desperate to avoid proof of indian shoody indian engineering work and con others for make living.

in indian book of deception proof is something that does not point to utter indian failure. Problem with such indian wish is facts are otherwise.

Siddhirganj plant shut within days of launch

Crippled by gas crisis, the newly built Siddhirganj power plant has been shut just within eight days of its inauguration, official sources said Tuesday. Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh (EGCB), a subsidiary of the PDB, implemented the project and commenced the 120-MW unit-1 of the plant on February 14. The EGCB shut the plant Monday. — UNB

The way they argue without back-up itself is an insult to their country. Many do not even realize that most of them represent their country in the board
