Repeated failure of BHEL transformer

The records reveal that performance of BHEL transformers was not very satisfactory. Instances of repeated failure of BHEL make transformers had been taken up by PowerGrid with BHEL management and also referred to CEA/MoP to use their good offices.

It's amazing that a thread based on a big lie has reached 150 posts XD

Given any public Referendum. Ganesh Resembled la-hasina would be more popular amongs bharati than Bangladeshis. A lot of people wished her non existence and that include me.:smokin:

Mr. Al-zakir u says that the AL party which have got more than 2/3 of majority and historic win in Bangladesh is not popular with Bangladeshi people?

So what is the criteria of popularity and public support?

Plz, stop ur rant and defaming Bangladesh

thanks

Do you suppose that you know better than us about Bangladesh. They got vote due to BNP's failure. And again they will lose for their failure too.

It's called life cycle my child.

No one is immortal one who have taken birth will die, one day.

Yes, i know about Bangladesh more than you because i don't see things wearing dark glasses and think rationally without hate.

As you have your self accepted BNP's failures than why you blame and accuse AL govt. which is new, give AL time before criticizing it as BNP was given full time. What more option you are left with JeI??

And do not confuse people BNP have never got this type of historic majority that AL under Madam Sheikh Hasina have got.

So, my points are valid as before.

@^

BNP's and AL's failure are not same type.

BNP failed to for corruption and failed to check extremist problems (created by some extremist group with the help of RAW but BNP was not responsible) but AL will fail for corruption, India-loving, dividing peoples, inflaming people/muslims, misrule, deception, misleading to the people, violating rules. AL is 50 folds corrupted than BNP. AL is BD's last choice when others fail. Also there are objection that AL won election by cheating.

And who the fµck you are calling be child.

^^^^ @brotherbangladesh
now that failure of BHEL has been exposed, indians are trying to engage in political debate to defelct from subject. Please dont fall in their trap. Looks like indians are more interested to elect and select who get elected in Bangladesh than Bangladeshis are. If indians are so interested to defend Awami stooge regime please direct them to following thread.

These articles from india showing evidence of shoddy engineering work and incompetence of BHEL. So all these are withing context and date has nothing to do with the subject. If anything date goes to show after all these years and months BHEL has not improve much.

Post the link about Bangladesh' power plant that you are blaming on India.. Prove it what you say else you are considered a Troll...

Between genius and an Idiotic Indian fool, there exists a finete gap. After reading the following post, hopefully a trool of your nature would figure out where he stands,

My blood pressure goes high when an Indian sensanationalize, dramatize fake AWAMY victory since election under an illegal entity was illegal thus its outcome was null and void. secondly even in that election Hasina wasn't voted to power like she wasn't in 96. In both occasions, extra ordinary results were delivered by creating extraordinary environments, which couldn't be possible in normal circumtences. Come up with a logical rebuttal, will ya? Thirdly legalizing MUA's illegal take over by bringing BNP's 1 crore illegal voter enlistment was another 'Saddam was tyrinical to his people after failing to show WMD' type of logic since Beauty Apa/Mizz Beautiness even certified that Mr. AZIZ's voter lists didn't have any deliberate partiallity besides Statistically insignificence of dual counting, uncounting, overlaping etc.

Furthermore, right after the parliament election, BNP/JI's miraculous turned around in Upazilla election even after AWAMY-Commie mayhems throughout the country proved that the election was farcical. A very scientific question would be to ask on why AWAMY led 14 party walas hadn't performed similar in UPAZILLA election as just held parliament election, although they created havoc to win? And why did they have to cause mayhem to win after their just landslide-WIN in parliament election? The reason was simple, i.e, MUA, FUA, HUDA cerated extra ordinary environment eased up after democratic ball started to roll. Can you say it otherwise?

Any real news of a failure yet? Informed Bangladeshi plz reply.

First post of this thread posted the news of failur of BHEL plant failure.

Then more article reveal BHEL actually installed damaged turbine and then used back door to accept the damaged turbine.

BHEL installed damaged and repaired turbine in Siddhirganj power plant

Commencement of the units is being delayed due to rows over acceptance of a ‘repaired’ gas turbine and the development of physical infrastructure at the plant, they said, adding that the company ‘lobbying’ for acceptance of the repaired turbine.
.
.
BHEL in April informed EGCB that a turbine fell from the trailer on its way to Chennai from Hyderabad for shipment to Bangladesh. The company then took back the turbine to Hyderabad for overhauling and few weeks later informed EGCB that the turbine had ‘no damage’.

Officials of EGCB and its consultant KEMA International later inspected the turbine and concluded that the turbine was repaired. EGCB then appointed a British firm, Lloyds, to inspect the turbine and it is now reviewing the report, power officials said.

The EGCB, however, asked BHEL to extend the guarantee period of the turbine to four years from existing two years, they said adding that BHEL was also asked to guarantee that it would compensate for economic loss caused by any unscheduled closure relating to the gas turbine. EGCB officials said BHEL was yet to respond to the conditions.

Indian state minister for commerce and power Jairam Ramesh and special assistant to the chief adviser M Tamim on Saturday visited the Siddhirganj power plant and discussed the delay in starting operation and the ‘repaired’ gas turbine.

Ramesh requested Tamim to settle the turbine issue as soon as possible and accept the turbine.

Subsequently more article posted about patteren of shoddy engineering works by BHEL and similar failure in india.

Renovated BBMB turbine damaged
24 MW additional loss to Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan
Tribune News Service

Gurdaspur, September 2
Another newly renovated BBMB turbine at Kotla power house has been damaged increasing the loss of generation to more than 50 MW. The sources told The Tribune that the runner blade of the turbine has developed a deep crack due to which the generation from the turbine had to be stopped causing a generation loss of 25 MW to partner states—Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.

According to sources the repair of the damaged turbine could take months as its runner would have to be replaced. This will mean more bad news for the power starved states like Punjab and Haryana.

Already a turbine at Ganguwal has been down for renovation. The Dehar power project of the BBMB had stopped generation after water entered it due to a rupture in protection shield.

Earlier in June this year a renovated turbine at Ganguwal power house of BBMB had got damaged. Both the damaged turbines were renovated by Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd. (BHEL).

The damage to two recently renovated turbines has put a question mark on the renovation of smoothly working old turbines carried out by the organisation. The organisation in the recent past has spent crores on renovating old turbines in Ganguwal and Kotla power houses. The Ganguwal and Kotla power houses of the BBMB are located on the Nangal hydel mainline canal. The generation at the power house is at its peak in this season as water at its full capacity is released in the canal.

The turbines had been giving trouble ever since their renovation was completed by the BHEL. It was proposed that the after renovation the generation capacity of the turbines would be increased to 25.2 MW. However, the generation of renovated turbines never reached the proposed target. Due to this the generation capacity of the turbines was set at 24 MW at a board meeting. The PSEB authorities as members of the board demanded that BHEL should be penalised for the loss of generation.

Besides the generation loss the renovated turbines also kept on giving technical problems. Due to problems in runners vibrations in turbines are more than normal. The sources inside the power houses told that if generation from renovated turbines was increased to optimum then oil started leaking from the seals.

The other turbines of the Ganguwal and Kotla power houses are being renovated by Japanese company Hitachi.

The renovation of turbines at right hand bank power house of Bhakra was carried out by the Russian company that had originally supplied the turbines.

With much fanfare Awami Prime minister Hasina inaugurated Indian BHEL built power plant on Feb 14th, 2010. But as with any Indian engineering work power plant broke down just 2 weeks after the inception. Repair attempts has been failed and no one knows how long it will take to repair a brand new power plant made by BHEL. BHEL has been presented as pinnacle of Indian power/energy achievement, now Bangladeshis know what that means.

Report in Bangla:

u seem to be quite learned....but u have put on your posts...that power plant break down...please let me know did "power plant got vapourized" and now there is nothing there........ :)
