Reports coming in that Army is all set to order 72000 more Sig 716 G2 Rifles from the US, this will take the total numbers to 1.44Lakh!

This is similar to how all Indian defence orders work, follow on orders mean a more stretched timeline to build up strength over time as there is a lot of resource constraints for one big order/year.
