You do realise Kashmiris should decide their own fate. A handful of stone pelters are a problem for you as you say for 30 years.
Think again what a battle hardened Pakistani army is capable of doing. And its not an army. The moment you go to war with Pakistan you will face more than just the army.
Nothing has changed since Asoka. You still are divided nation just clinging on due to financial interest. South Indians vs North Indian, Bengalis, Punjab. It will simply be too much.
I do not want to drag on. You can continue the ritualistic chest thumping.
But trust me while an average middle class Indian longs to be a manager and drive a Skoda or ford, while the middle class Pakistani is frustrated and it will only galvanize them into just giving it all to you.

Its just not worth it. Trust me. I like India the way it is. Pakistan on the aggression will leave you confined on the andoman islands.

Even Pakistan is nothing but Punjab.
baluhcis don't want you, fata is war torn and Gilgit is not even allowed to vote from many years can't tell about others.
We have given good government packages to Kashmir and today only news came that 10 seats are reserved now for Kashmiri youth in top engineering colleges and others too which was 2 in past.
A manager when will see his country getting run over by his enemies will take up a weapon if needed.
Nobody wants war but Pakistan should realise it's aggression will tear it apart. it just don't have enough capacity to handle the rush it wishes to take.

Since your posts are logical therefore I would like to ask you few questions regarding your quoted post.

Why would Kashmiri or any Indian Muslim choose Pakistan over India ?

What can Pakistan offer them for being citizen of your country which they are lacking ?

Why no Muslim, besides few terrorists from India, has ever sought asylum in Pakistan ?

Since, per capita, maximum funds had been allocated to Kashmir on subsidies, infra projects and other social and economic development programs by Modi sarkar to woo Kashmiris, still, why do you think that Indians are biased towards Kashmiris ?

The illusion of freedom is more important than freedom itself these days.
Kashmiris just want to be free and had you done polls post 911 you could have had an independent Kashmir leaning towards India. Things have changed now.
Your own priests did derive that India can only conquer Pakistan before 2013 and after that it will take another 200 years to reach such auspicious time.

As far as why they would chose Pakistan if they do, it remains an enigma. Its just a Muslim thing. No one can explain you that. I have no logical answer to that.

I hope we bump into each other on a more sensible thread than this or let's say meaningful.
I just had to get your opinion on a couple of things before my attention span snooze away.

1) India plans to gradually move away from cold start doctrine to first strike deterrence. That basically in war terminology means going back to defensive mode. My question is purely psychological in nature. Don't you think Pakistan has an edge considering Indians consider us suicidal to begin with?

2) nuclear war is not an option at this moment in time while we have trigger friendly statesmen all over the world these days. Theoretically Multan and larkana are your best shots for n strike but geologically you will face the brunt of nuclear winter not us. Pakistan on 2nd strike will not choose Delhi or Mumbai for strategical reasons. Chennai, Bangalore and Calcutta will be preferred.
