Not sure what to make of this.

Historically, India marketed itself to American lead west as the bulwark against China, infact Indian nuke programme was initiated using China as a pretext. But whenever push comes to shove, India fizzled out infront of China. Doklam and Maldives are two recent examples, where India failed to serve American interests.

When two elephants fight, the rats get squashed, India needs to understand this.
