Okey..Good thread Indeed But you guys missed one part,Recently DAC approved purchase of 3000 LSV's for Army for which contenders were Mahindra Axe and TATA LSV....Axe didn't meet the specifications [It underwent trials year back]while TATA LSV underwent trials by Army and Army has decided to go ahead with it...They will initially purchase 3000 vehicles,the Requirement is of near 10000 LSV.

Jonga was the heaviest of its class and Shaktiman the bumpiest.

Casspir was my favourite.

INS viraat is an unexpected addition to this thread,the largest and sole aircraft carrier Of Indian Navy can carry upto 750 troops in 4 LCVP landing crafts and has ambhibious operation support capability.

This old lady retains the capability to carry upto 80 torpedoes,can carry a total of 30 aircrafts,has an armour of 3 cm thick.

INS Jalashwa (L41)

can carry upto 1000 troops in 4 LCM-8 landing crafts which each can hold upto 53 tonnes of wt. The ship also carries upto 6 seahawks or a sea harrier.
