Indian Americans more successful than other immigrant groups in the US

There is a reason why after thirty years India still can't get kaveri engine working properly. The guys that could get the job done are working in pratt and whittney Or GE making engines for them.
Do you know, the jet engine designed by Germans were taken by you guys. You also took their stealth bomber prototype and its similarity is seen in your B-2 Spirit bomber. Germans were way ahead of you.

Do you know, after USSR break up,LM and Boeing met Russian scientists who were out of their jobs, promised them to do work, saw the blue print and left them just because the Scientists didn't agree to work in US.

No one doubts your innovativness and advanced knowledge but you were independent for over 250 years while we have been for just 65 years.

Kaveri works fine but doesn't give enough thrust for our fighter plane.

BTW we couldn't build our fighter plane but your module to detect water on Moon was on Indian Moon orbiter and launched from India.

India has lot to learn and its learning quickly along with our major problems like poverty. You don't have that problem like we have. You don't have regular terrorist attacks like we have. You don't have 1.2 billion mouths to feed like we have to. So we can't invest more money in R&D. We are trying our best.

The East Asians are doing less well in the US because the cream of those respective countries can stay at home and contribute to their home countries, same with most (western) European emigrants to the US in the last 30 years. So, most emigrants from those regions are rather struggling at home and finding emigration as a good way out, while the best of India and the Philippines are emigrating to the US because their home country just doesn't provide them the fertile ground to prosper.

The odd of the whole picture are the Vietnamese, their economy and development at home is low and their emigrants to the US are not doing well either.

That's how I interpret this chart.

And is there anything else do you want to add?

Like Vietnamese living in Germany, most Vietnamese come to America primarily as refugees, with little or no money, yeh dirty poor. Nowadays compared to ordinary Germans and Americans, our performance is not too bad. Surely we are behind some other Asians in the US, but who cares?

Besides the VN economy and the standard of living have improved a lot, considering where we came from.

That's what differentiates a developing country from a developed country. India is starting to stop, and sometimes reverse, the brain drain. Better late than never.

.

according the chart Indians have the brains to reverse the drain. what is your fate, screwed on both ends of it ? I guess are you left to impart excuses and take pot shots at conspiracy theories on forums

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

indians are actually proud of the top 0.0001% in 1.2 billion people going to USA?

Smart Chinese people already returned to China or never leave anyway, because our country is not third world anymore.

But nobody wants to stay in india ;)

smart Chinese like you? We agree! you are the standard by which we measure Chinese populous and their IQ. somebody should tell your premier you are not 3rd world because he keeps saying you are and refuses the mantle of being called a developed country.

My neighbour is a 30 year old single Iranian-American man and he drives CLS550 and runs his own business and he would throw in party once in a while and I would see exotic cars in the parking and I would feel those are rich loaded Iranian-American kids. :)

Buddhism is very positive, thanks to Dalai Lama.
Hindus and Sikhs on the other hand is often are mistaken for Muslims, who have a very negative image in the US.

Hindus? I don't think so. I don't think anyone gives a damn of where they are from or what religion.

And yes, Buddhism is viewed positively in the US. But not just because of Dalai Lama.

I would rate South Koreans and most Chinese above Indians or at-least here in NY.
