i was talking about F18 SH at 80m USD per plane compared to 250m for rafale.
Find out How much Australia paid for F 18
That too in 2007
They paid 4.6 Billion US dollars for 24 planes ( More than 190 million Per Plane)

@Bheemsen
F 18 TODAY will be at the same price as Rafale
But there is another problem working with USA
1 They want to you sign CISMOA before they give you High tech planes
2 They dont believe in Transfer of Technology
Rafale purchase is not just about Fighter planes
It will help Indian industry a LOT through offsets and ToT

This is about the Australian deal
On 3 May 2007, the Australian Government signed a A$2.9 billion contract to acquire 24 F/A-18Fs for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as an interim replacement for aging F-111s.
[93] The total cost with training and support over 10 years was expected to be A$6 billion (US$4.6 billion).[94]
