Brother I don't get one point. What is the use of having 270 Tejas by 2030. Is it even enough? That's is after 14 long years. Very sad state of defence plan. Hope second single engine fighter will go for production ...

Exactly due to concerns of shortcomings shown by IAF on Tejas performance they are not going for extra production , instead other fighter jet to be made in India is being explored which will be used to fill IAF numbers hope they select F18 SH and make it at least 120 of these to replace mig 27. Also i dont think IAF will ever go for more than 40 squad strength before 2030.

1. On Jaguars, not all will be upgraded , only 61.
