Not only should we drill oil in the SCS, we should also publicize our drilling in the SCS. It will benefit India in many ways. India's image as a global power will be improved. At the same time, the world will know China is just a paper tiger.

Chinese Govt always tries to boost its image in front of the Chinese people who think that their Govt and their armed forces are strong enough to take on others in Asia. So, it is expected that Chinese leaders will try to downplay the Indian drilling in the SCS or deny that anything like that to save their faces. But if India publicizes its drilling of oil in the SCS, Chinese people will come to know how coward their leaders and armed forces are and they may revolt against such Govt and army which do nothing but oppress its own people.

The only way to tarnish the image of the Chinese leaders and armed forces is to show the Chinese how coward and hypocrites their leaders and armed forces are. Let the Chinese know that their military is a paper tiger. It will destroy the morale of the Chinese armed forces and they will become defeated even before they fight.

We should tell the world that we can challenge China and China can do nothing about it.
