India will lose 'special privileges' if it buys crude from Saudi Arabia, U.S.: Iranian diplomat

Our diplomacy is not a zero sum game .
But you cant play monkey with geography, even with your not-so-zero-sum-diplomacy you cant change your fate which is sealed because of your location.

Even a blind man can see you have issues otherwise you wouldn't be begging Iran for chahbahar port.

Chabahar Yes... but don't include Hormuz... it doesn't belong to Iran and close it by force is act of war which will bring wrath to them from all around the globe
Iran is already under wrath, their existence is threatened. Do you think they will care about existence of others if their own one is threatened?

In the same way USA will look for it's interests. throw India out of Afghanistan and cut a deal with Pakistan restore aid and supply weapons to Pakistan. USA should also look after it's own interests.

US cannot throw India out of Afghanistan.
India is improving the economy of Afghanistan... Bilateral relations here..

US benefits from India not Pakistan.
Pakistan is closer to China & North Korea military wise .. where as india s dealing with Iran is for oil.

.
Pakistan and Afghanistan are natural historic allies sharing a common culture, language, and race.

Whatever US or India do to bring Afghanistan into conflict with Pakistan will always be temporary.

End of the day, Afghanistan will be Pakistan’s ally and friend. Just wait and see.

India's Afghanistan agenda is 90% in Iran's hand.

it is you who is overplaying India's hand. First of all, India's gateway to Afghanistan is through Iran. Iran doesnt hate or dislike India, so offcourse Iran wont act harshly unless forced to. India has some leverage though, as a big country AND buyer, but yes, all the RAW access to Afghanistan, Iran controls it. Iran's geography gives her decisive advantage. Every issue thats economic isnt settled in only economic terms(Even China is meddling in US-NK talks as retaliation for the tariff war). Do you think Iran will allow its oil exports to drop to 0 and still let there be peace in the strait of hormuz? Both wont happen together.Trump mostly bluffs, and CHina is the first to call the bluff.I've been worried that the "stubborn countries"would expose Trump as a fraud whose threats are more potent than anything else.

tell you something , india can live without iran , understand ??????????? not only can survive without iran but will grow at same pace it is growing and even faster . now tell me if india and iran become unfriendly , just think about the repercussions of an economy dependent on oil + ( uncle sam desires which can be exploited easily thereafter ), which is a decade or so long story now , oil will crash like a house of cards .
and come out of RA&W phobia , weham ka ilaj hakim lukman ke paas bhi nahi tha . bye for now

If INdia and Iran become unfriendly, you are correct, Iran's lack of oil export will damage her, but how can you sustain your growth without oil? who will you get it from? So you and China,2 huge economies want to cut Iran out and stil lfind stable, large supplies elsewhere? how. stop bluffing. Iran needs the oil sales and you need the oil. You want to be truly independent in your foreign policy but it seems your balls have not deployed into the sac yet.

What will happen to your dream of accessing afghaisran and central Asia once chahbahar port will be closed to India?

If India goes else where for oil purchase then world oil price will go up and India will get expensive oil and good bye to progressive economy and back to dark ages for India. This world oil equation is a balanced one.

Dont worry afghanis will throw India out the moment usa leaves Afghanistan. It will be a blood bath

A large Eurasian bloc is emerging from Turkey to Pakistan, Russia/China to Iran. Afghanistan will have to be dealt with by neighboring countries once US exits or becomes irrelevant.

Ill-advised threat from Iran.

New round of sanctions on Iranian oil imports from the US will go into effect on November 4, 2018. These sanctions carry heavy penalty for any country which will be importing oil from Iran after due date. Under these circumstances, Indian hand is forced and it has to safeguard its economy. Even EU is spooked and scrambling for alternatives.

Earlier round of sanctions froze Pakistan - Iran IP gas pipeline deal as well. Pakistan not in the position to defy these sanctions, even if it desire otherwise.

Iran in big trouble in coming days.

Deputy FM: Iran, India Determined to Strengthen All-Out Ties
These are just words. No action has been taken. Only "determination to improve relations" has been shown. In reality India has already reduced the volume of oil imports and wants to minimize it before 4 nov 2018. Actions speak louder than words. While effectively sitting in America's and Israel's lap how long will you fool Iran ?
