Well, the interesting thing is many of them actually believed it. It shows the importance of a quality education system. Modi should start an "Education India" campaign ASAP. You fail youngsters in their early age then they will fail the country.
It is now a top secret project classified under code name SSSS.

Cant say about exFlop computers, but yes few computers with 10+PFlops are in building process and should get completed in this year. Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology Pune and National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting at Noida in Uttar Pradesh should make announcement as early as August or september 2017.
Also NITs are getting powered up with Param range of super computers. So overall yes there is rise in investment in super computing resources and many more organizations are getting access to it, but leading the Top10's in this heavily challenged market would not be cup of tea for India for at least in next decade.

Who cares about some 10+ PFlop machines? I'm asking about this super-supercomputer capable of exFlops. So do you have any updates on this project? Does anyone have any news on this?
