If India claimed that Brahmos, a Russian export downgrade as the most powerful missile that US navy has no answer, their delusion know no bound. How soon will they realize that they cannot join the UNSC security council by begging.

Current world scenario, whether you look at it from population perspective, or economic heft, or defense force, or geographic size and location, UK doesn't seem fit to be a permanent member of UNSC, ahead of Germany in europe. Brazil, south africa and Australia demand it for inclusive membership from all continents. As for India, we want that too, for a number of reasons, some of which are wishful, most are factual. Given the future prospects of India vis-a-vis the world, it's just a matter of time that we will get it.

India is already the 2nd most populous country, 7th largest in size and is a major soft power too. How long can you keep India out?

It has functioned without any significant Chinese active involvement for the better part of its history. It's only now that China is crying out loud to tell everyone that she is now a grown up lady, that she has started to show her tantrums at UNSC.

China is our ally and friend. With their support we are confident that India will not become the 6th member of the UN security council, especially since no muslim country as yet represents it.

And why would a Muslim country necessarily be a permanent member? Especially most of the Muslim countries hell bent on destroying each other.

Valid point. Neither Saudi nor Iran would be valuable members who would defend Pakistani interests in the UN. But Pakistan and Turkey have had better roles in these conflicts and have tried to make peace.
