India wants to launch air strikes inside Pakistan: McCain WASHINGTON: U.S. Senator John McCain has voiced his deep concern over tense South Asian situation, saying India was preparing for some kind of attack on Pakistan in the wake of last month’s Mumbai attacks.

The former Republican presidential candidate’s statement preceded a relative de-escalation in the tension as both Islamabad and New Delhi stressed avoidance of war and talked peace over the weekend.

“The Indians are on the verge of some kind of attack on Pakistan,” such as an air attack on suspected militant camps, he told a daily newspaper in his home state Arizona published Monday.

Pakistan Tuesday saw some positive signs over the last two days in Indian leaders’ statements but recommended New Delhi de-activate its forward air bases and move its ground troops back to peacetime locations to resume friendly atmosphere.

“I think it’s a very dicey situation,” McCain said, noting how both countries have nuclear weapons.

Who would be a better President in this case between Pakistan and India, McCain or Obama?
I don't have much faith in Obama, since I already know that his Israel-Palestine handling will most likely be the same as Bush.

Wat a joke ! wat is this bs....... please haha never gona happen

as the pakistani military stated before
any kind of strike in pakistan by the indian forces would be a declaration of war
so india is less likely to attack at all

Why is anyone still listening to McCain? He can say anything he wants, it's not credible.

As for who'd have been a better president in this situation, McCain would have been same old, same old. Obama at least recognizes the threat from terrorist groups in Pakistan and has resolved to tackle the issue.

Mc Cain`s only downside is he`s too much conservative, he needs to loosen and up if he does he may gain a lot of support.

McCain is gone... govt changed... world moved on... looks like you are the only one stuck in the past. Stop digging old threads.
