India has much more moderate civilians than total population of Pakistan.

Depending on the factors Indians vote for, only shows what is their common mentality. Fundamentalism is only among not more than 1 digit % population out of 1.2 billion.

I dont at all intend to derail this thread but its a living fact that Indians as a kaum is more moderate than any of its neighbours. Dont know bout China coz one major section of their population is aethist and other buddhist and taoist which again is one of the most moderate religions we have today.

I dont agree. There is more discontent about corruption rather than religious fanaticism.

Lets put things in perspective. Modi said, no temple till every house has a toilet. Ideally, he shud have lost his popularity on this statement. Indians only care bout development and fight against corruption. Nothing else matters. Recent events are proof for that.
