India V/S Pakistan Cricket Series

Later on April 18th and 19th India and Pakistan played 2 ODI's in Abu Dhabi for the charity of the earthquake victims of both India and Pakistan.

75% of the earnings were donated to the Pak quake victims and 25% to the Indians.

BCCI itself donated 75 Million Indian Rupees to Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi as quake aid.

In return Rana naved asked Dhoni to **** off in the second ODI after he got his wicket.

Now only God himself will protect Rana from Dhoni.

I am crossing my fingers for the Indo-Pak clash in coming ICC Champions trophy.

So Rana Naveed asked Dhoni to **** off.. why is there no clip as there is clip usually available after such incidents happened. Alright anyways, so he asked Dhoni to **** off.. big deal, Bhajji asked Pieterson to **** off when Pieterson bowled him and it was loud and clear, RP Singh asked Mohammad Yousuf to **** off, same with Ganguly. Also got protect Dhoni from ANY bowler outside the subcontinent, as you got the preview of what may happen to him in the Karachi test.

Also you posted test rankings, lets discuss on it. India only won one series after the new rankings came out, and that was against a weak Sri Lankan side at home. India was number 3 when the rankings came out and they're still number 3 and only gained about 3 odd points in the rankings since then. It's funny how you lost the 3rd test to England in mumbai.. 100 all out. The whole team choked infront of a team that had about most of its main players missing and therefore had about half of its side missing. It would be correct to say that India lost to England C side. A 37 year old spinner choked the Indian team especially Tendulker (aka Tendulchoker). Karachi test.. do I need to say anything?

Now lets compare the above to Pakistan's test performance since the rankings came out. Pakistan was number 7 then and now Pakistan is number 4. Pakistan had about 95 points when new rankings came out and now they've 109 which means a mammoth 14 point gain compared to India's 3 odd. Pakistan thrashed England 2-0 (would have been 3-0 if Pakistan had 1 more hour available in the second test ) -- a team that defeated Australia the number one team in the world. India.. no need to say about it, even though no Indian likes to discuss anything about the test series and everything about the ODI series.

And then Pakistan won against a strong Sri Lankan side away in Sri Lanka (Sri Lanka is one of the strongest team at home) against the odds and without Shoaib Akhtar. First test against Sri Lanka, Pakistan made a fight back like it did in Mohali test, Karachi test, Multan test (against England) and batted out the last day and only lost 2 wickets to draw the test. Here's scorecard of that test:
http://usa.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/2005-06/PAK_IN_SL/SCORECARDS/PAK_SL_T1_26-30MAR2006.html

Has India ever done this recently? No is the answer.

Second test.. somewhat similar. SriLanka had a 109 run lead after Pakistan's second innings but yet again, Pakistan made a fight back to bowl Srilanka all out for 73 and chase a tricky 182 down on a pitch that was assisting seamers and spinner throughout.

Here's the scorecard:

http://usa.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/2005-06/PAK_IN_SL/SCORECARDS/PAK_SL_T2_03-07APR2006.html

Since ODI series has been discussed to death as no Indian wanted to discuss test series, lets now actually discuss the test series.

Nobody was playing for a cause.

In AXB (Abu Dhabi) Indo-Pak were playing for a cause. BCCI donated 75 Million Rupees to the Brothers and Sisters of Rana Naveed who got affected due to the EarthQuake.

It was not only the Pakistani spectators whoi bought tickets. Indians were also there to support the cause. In fact Indians were more in numbers.

and you are supporting the act of Rana coz others did it. So what is the difference of you and Rana being a Pakistani?

P.S: - Your defence as well as Cricketing history is puthetic.

India was number 6 at the starting of rankings. :sniper:

I rest my case.

Big deal BCCI donated 75 million. Please find me a news article cause it would've been allover the net if it happened.

Again, big deal Indians came to ODIs. They came to watch the game, not cause it was being played for the earthquake. Also who cares if more Indians were there. Compare the populations of each country and see who is more overpopulated then see why more were there.

And no i am not supporting Rana. My point is that what's the big deal if so many players do it, especially indians.

PS- No my defence and cricketing history is not pathetic, yours is. You're just saying so because you can't defend yourself from what I said. There no such word as fightback in Indian cricket and in India. India can only dream of doing what Pakistan has done regularly throughout the last 12 months or so. Look how India choked infront of the England C side in the Mumbai test. Pakistan defeated a FULL STRENGTH England team 2-0. The only player didn't take part was Simon Jones and he's mainly a seamer I doubt he would've done wonders since no English seamers played particularly well. Hoggard, who did so well in India, got only about 8 - 10 wickets in the whole 3 tests.

And no mr, india was not number 6. I am talking about the rankings that were totally edited out in summer of 2005 and new ones came out and India was number 3 in those new rankings. It's your history that is pathetic, not mine.

Look at that. Pakistan's overall tally at 54.94% win rate, second best in the world after Australia. And for India.. well no need to say anything.

Ok, so 7.5 million. Great thanks. To be honest, its no big deal. 7.5 million is not a lot for BCCI.

In that case you are referring to, we are no different.

10 Year old? More like 50 year old.

Ground Zero: India arrive in Pakistan

The Indian cricket team arrived in Pakistan on Thursday night amidst stringent security arrangements. However, there was not much of a crowd to welcome them at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.
The flight that brought them to Lahore was delayed due to inclement winter weather, which also threatens to disrupt the series.

India and Pakistan play a 3-Test and 5-ODI match series.

BTW: - What is that expression of the bus driver???
