In India, the burqa has seen big adoption in the last 10 to 15 years. When I look at old family photos, no relative of mine wore burqa. And now, boom, many of them are covered. This is basically an effect of that accursed Tableeghi Jamaat which is spreading a wrong form of Islam.

The burqa is an ugly piece of clothing.

Personally I think the Burqa is excessive if the girl is single (not married yet) but if she's married I think it is praiseworthy that a woman covers her entire body in respect for Allah and her husband. At bare minimum traditional modest shalwar kameez with duppata is good.

It takes truly superhuman willpower to subjugate her natural desire for men to give her attention for her natural looks, just as it takes superhuman willpower for a man to lower his gaze in front of a woman he finds to be attractive. These kinds of people have overcome their beastly impulses and thus are qualified to be considered humans in the civilized sense of that word because to be human is to not be an animal, and thus to be civilized.

I think even the scholars that say it's not fard say it's mustahabb... i do think the stronger opinion is that it's fard, though... a woman's face is way more appealing than her hair... covering the hair is just symbolic whereas covering the face actually is practical.... you fall in love with a woman's face, not her hair

A college principal in Firozabad stands with a baton at the gate and tells grils to go back. Police says it's internal matter of the college and later girls are seen taking off their burkas.

Indian Muslims have no spine. They will come and blame Pakistan for that as well.

This cowardly man is using his influence to bully and humiliate young female students.

Being a teacher is a position of responsibility and a safe place for female students.

This is a violation of basic human rights.

Now standing outside with a baton/stick and threatening female students, there is no modern example of such a thing except for American segregation where whites spat on black students and cursed them to dissuade them from going to integrated schools.

They tell us Burka is forced, but yet here they are forcing them through threats of violence and curses to remove it, and even willing to deny them educational opportunities. This is the true face of anti-burka activists, who will soon turn on hijab as well.

The police are supporting BJP/RSS policy of harassing, raping, lynching Muslims all over India, and for the most part, we have seen schools and universities also adopt these policies against Indian Muslims and Kashmiris.
