India turns down US plans to counter China

Both the USA and the USSR have been trying to contain us since the early days of the Cold War, when they were both our sworn enemies.

But we have only became stronger. :azn: The USA is now our biggest trading partner (and we are also their largest creditor), and the USSR is gone.

India hasn't even started to contain us yet, and their economy is already tanking. At least the USA has got the economic muscle to back it up.
Yo...i would like you to look at the economic conditions in China...You ll get a glimpse of whats going on in the world.
India still,is doing better than the rest of the world!-.-

bring on the indians we'll send our auxillary police force stationed in HK to handle the harrassment! no big deal!

I guess CPC , should heed to your great genius, rather than stationing 400,000 of PLA infantry in Tibet to combat India.

Is that so?

It is called "China’s String of Pearls around India". China started this game. Now India wants to poke its nose in South China Sea. As I said it is a game, and the fittest will win.

"String of Pearl" doesn't even exist and is made up by the West to pity India against China and vice versa.

India needs to let go of the wet dreams of becoming a "supa powa" with a declining economy and learn to become a friendly neighbor. I understand its a long and hard process especially with a history of British colonial rule

Bolded Part !! World will be a better place if Pakistanis follow the advice they give to others.

I think, all the chest thumping aside, there is a serious need for our Chinese friends to appreciate that inspite of the issues that they have so meticulously articulated, india is a country that is fast developing means to secure dominance in the Indian Ocean Region, which are likely to hurt a smooth evolution of china into a superpower.

India is increasingly focusing on defence against china with rapid expansion of armed forces in mind. And though comparisons between the forces of two countries, is not quite an apple to apple comparison, it is difficult to argue with a nuclear tipped nation that is spending about USD 40 billion annually on military hardware.

And importantly, india is not the only country that has been irritated by Chinese arrogance. China has had historical issues with Japan, many south east asian nations are wary of the power that China yields (both economic and military), then there are allies of US such as S. Korea and Australia.

To see the Indian threat from the overly simplistic prism of – my D@#K is bigger than yours – would be to blind yourself from the geo-political realities.

Besides, India alone, is undertaking various initiatives for advancement of the navy, which some experts estimate, will be the 3rd largest by 2020.

In light of these broad trends, over-confidence is ill-advised and can be a liability.

India now should go under the shadow of the chinese century , as India known that she can't be a counterweight to china even
in the next zillion years. Rather go under the protection of big brother china and allow the rise of
a peaceful asia lead by china.:china:

:lol::lol:

You are not a neighbour of China that's why you can say this ..

Just ask this to their neighbours they will tell you reality :lol:
