What's new

India trying to occupy Bangladesh territory

Falcon, you are going too much offtopic here.......btw,its funny you say india going to 'daddy' usa!!!....when we all know who brought the usa to south asia, and has VAST relations with it ranging from military to finance to much more...........btw,noone is minority in india, all are one and majority ie indians.....minority mentality only prevails in nation devoted and set up on a particular religion....

You need reference for Farakka??

Wow,are you new to this part of the world? Its better to let you do your own research. But I shall give you some hints.

Do you recognise what this is?

This is "mighty" Padma river.

And this year we are well into rainy season, but large parts of Padma is dry. That is a shocker.
Strawman.

The post that I had responded to claimed that, "the rivers drying up that form more land for our country, from Farakka." You have responded back with "Farakka-is-drying-up-Padma" gambit.

Nice try but try again. This time however, try to provide a reference, preferably a scholarly research work, that shows, that drying up of rivers, due to Farakka, is so permanent that it can be considered as new land being created.

I have a feeling you still don't have a clue to what I am saying.

We are already hosting a lot of Kashmiris who are from occupied Kashmir. We hosted millions of Afghans and this is called goodwill. But you wont understand what sincerity and goodwill means because you can only see your interests and money.

Well you obviously have hosted some Kashmiri's, because Pakistan uses these troubled folks for it own devious purpose of brainwashing to spread terror and militancy in Kashmir + Afghanistan and create a farce that Kashmiri's want Independence from India....

If thats what you call help for "goodwill"....then I suggest you check the definition of that word....Pakistan is far from it!!!

PS: You still havent answered my question....would Pakistan be fine with harboring the Kashmiri's for goodwill, but leaving the land to the Indians?

if we halp to kasmiris why than you cray and go to ur daddy USA and say pakistan is helping mujhaids in kashmir and when i say no one want to live in india what happeneing with muslims in gujrat, sikhs christians in india we all know by majority of hindus and when u talk about the greatness of india great nations never threat to own people bhall thakra what does in india against muslims we all know we are not saying that pakistan is great but the fact is that both countries have probleums of same nature still india says pakistan as a troubled country but india is also a troubled country in pakistan we never threaten to minorities u see hindus here they are minority but still they are rich in pakistan 90% of hindus in pakistan are rich their bussiness property never threatened and 30% of muslims are rich in india and their bussiness always got threatened by anti muslims orginizations such as bhall thakra's

Well you're feeling rather holy aren't you?

So did you physically survey our 1 Billion bretheren about their plan NOT to live in India.....please do not argue for the sake of it....

Also...I think you're forgetting that recently there were attacks against Sikhs in your NWFP and they were asked to pay Jizya.....We provide subsidy to our Muslim brothers for Haj in India....while your people tax and target Sikhs for existing?? Very good to minorities indeed!!

And you think the fundamentalism brewing in Pakistan is because Pakistan wants to be a secular country???...

Anyways this is way off topic and I dont mind discussing this elsewhere approriate....

Look who's talking..

Apparently you did not get what SeaGull sir said and also what I tried to show with the picture. When you have shut the doors to your brain,no amount of research will please you.Better do your own research on Farakka. My time is valuable, and I don't want to waste it on people like you.

There is a seperate sticky thread "India turning Bangladesh into desert".You will get the materials.

Now stop wasting my time,by pretending to be naive.

I got exactly what your 'SeaGull sir' has said. Unfortunately you didn't and thats why you responded with a strawman. Now since you have slept through your geology class, here it is one more time:

Seasonal drying up of river bed <> Permanent drying up of river bed.

Oh wait. You don't need geology lessons for that. Common sense would have been enough.

Since the claim is made by you and your 'SeaGull sir' , the onus is therefore on you and your ilk to back that claim up. Not mine.:cheesy:

On the contrary, it was you who took it upon yourself to respond to my initial post which was directed at someone else. So basically you would kick the axe and then blame the axe for cutting your toe.

That explains a lot.:)

Land is useless if there's no water.

er....what are we doing with water issues here?

Some ignorant indians just going overboard stacking up lie and deception one after another. Indian lie has gone such an extent that now some indians are claiming even thousands of years of natural history is wrong by claiming drying up Padma river bed is seasonal issue.

For those idiot who does not know Padma or Ganga is not a seasonal river where middle of the river get dried up for any natural reason. it dries up because india withdraws water through Farrkka dam.

Padma/Ganga has enough water all year long for thousands of year to have steady stream until india put Farrakka dam. Once again you have proven to be another pathological indian liar. Get yourself out of here before you further shamed yourself.

Again the "Farakka-drying-up-Padma" gambit. The claim, that LAND is being created by drying up of Padma, apparently due to Farakka continues to be unsupported by any evidence.

In case anybody is wondering, a sandbar doesn't necessarily mean LAND. Of the numerous sandbars on Hoogly, thanks to our commitment to release water to BD, only few are claimed to be land; for example, Nayachor, on which a petrochemical is supposed to come up in West Bengal.

Once again you have proven to be another pathological BD whiner. Get yourself out of here before you further shamed yourself.

true to the fact indian "copy and paste" culture. When challenged with truth indian try to label thousands of years of natural history as "not enough evidence"

Another pathological liar gone mad. Not to mention con act to defelct original crime indians are committing by trying to occupy neighbors land.

Watch out buster, you are begining to sound pathological yourself.

I think its best for BD members here not to feed Mr.troll here.

Padma is dry even in the rainy season and Mr.ignorant thinks its natural. What a crap!

Now who slept in their geology class?

No further replies to this Troll.

Back off Pmukherjee!! - we are living in the evidence. And we don't have to produce evidence at least not to you.

Sea gull
Hi, what is there to back off from? It is common knowledge that the water levels in the Padma/Ganga have been affected by the Farakka. Who can deny that? But do we have to use foul language to establish that? My objection was to someone's strong and objectionable language.
BTW, the worse is still to come. When China executes its Tsangpo/Brahmaputra project, the entire Brahmaputra will dry up with nothing coming to India or BD. India and BD should start talking on the water sharing and both should talk to China. Only China is not listening.
