Russia is a major supplier of weapons to Vietnam.

It won't stop that just because China is averse to it.

The condition for BrahMos sale is that the buying country should be friendly with both India and Russia. Vietnam is one of our closest friends for over half a century. Russia and Vietnam have robust military and international relations.

Business is business.

Excellent step India. Offending your powerful neighbour who you cannot withstand is your best way forward.

Our relations are strictly bilateral. Vietnam is a friendly country and they are asking to purchase it from us. No third party can be involved. We simply don't care even if it were.

I really don't see what China has to do with this unless Chinese forces plan to invade Vietnamese with unilateral aggression.

If they can give you nukes and fighter jets, then why do we need to heed to any of their concerns?
