Jamaatis did massacre after election. They burned houses of Hindus who cast their votes in the election.

BNP is worthless party but India may be thinking of Jamaatis behind BNP. I don't think India has any problem with BNP but Jamaatis. If Jamaat comes in power they will make their full effort to unstable Bangladesh and India both.
BD govt under Awami League abolished Caretaker Govt through passage of the 15th amendment of the constitution with its majority in Parliament in 2011.
Its BNP who disagrees with the constitution by disagreeing to the law passed by the Parliament of Bangladesh.
and why I'm not surprised.....
in my opinion,BNP made a horrible mistake.how long they think they'll fight in the streets and continue the burning and pillaging spree??people will get tired of this,so will government.if the government sustains, they'll continue their game and BNP will left out from any kind of "Fun" at all.and why the heck sudden spree of protests just before the election???
Don't bother IamGopali never replies to any arguments.....too busy barking and wagging his tail!So it really matters what india wants now in BD and you're a Bangladeshi saying that....which party in india you want to rule as Bangladeshi and how does it matter there?
A short sighted and stupid move by the current government of Bangladesh. They are behaving no better than any other tin pot dictatorship. 20% of voter turnout is a joke. The government should resign in favour of a caretaker government. Even if they lose at the elections, at least democracy will be the winner. Hopefully, whoever wins the Indian elections will ensure that pressure is placed on the Bangladeshi establishment to step down and call a free and fair election for the nation
isn't Caretaker Government System got abolished in 2011??then why so much hue and cry in 2014 about it???and aint main opposition party boycotting the election and trying to conduct that under its own favorable condition a "Joke" itself??nobody stopped them from joining the intermediate government.they themselves refrained from it.they're calling election commission "Biased".that just showed their predetermined mindset.if the election commission is itself corrupt, then caretaker govt or not, result would be always biased, right??

You can't by any measure justify a 20% turnout in a national election. Something is wrong there and trying to justify is beyond possibility. If the people of that country boycotted an election to that extent then the government must do the honorable thing and resign. As I said earlier, they may lose the elections but at least democracy will win
There were no opposition candidates in majority of the seat, what was the need of voting then, why are you surprised with 20% turnout.
As far as BD is concerned...the begums would wish the sun to rise from the west...if the other says east!
Then they will bicker about "dawaats"
Foreign policy is just child's play.
Both of them will sell the country to the highest bidder

Caretaker Govt. was declared illegal by high court during BNP tenure. Not in 2011. The appellate division gave the same verdict in 2009/10.
