India to recruit 89,000 troops, US $ 15 billion for chinese border

. .
I don't see how $15 BN is 1% of Indian GDP as India's defence budget is >$37 BN and is pegged at ~1.83% of GDP.
Then India has a GDP of 2.02 trillion dollars?

As far as I know Indian GDP over 2010 was 1.6 trillion dollars, making $15bln about 1%.

Nothing wrong with being prepared... especially when it comes to the Chinese. Just be careful not to overspend.

. . . . .
Why would China, in their right senses, would want to invade India? This is 21st Century and they are dominating pretty well by invading markets world wide.

Another hype by Indian Armed forces to spend more money on a threat, that is getting less credible, day by day.

Surprise ! China is not an angel as you thought !

"In future, India could be subject to China's hegemonic attention. Since India would be better prepared by then, China may instead wish to set India back now by a preventive war. This means current day preparedness is as essential as preparation for the future. A [defeat] now will have as severe political costs, internally and externally, as it had back in 1962; for, as then, India is yet again contemplating a global role."

It doesn't matter, we still view you as a smaller neighbor.

Says who ? A brainwashed nationalist Chinese most likely a student who left his country to lead comfortable life in Western paradise. You are not even representative of china.

And who are you to decide that?

ChineseTiger is correct. Most Chinese people don't know anything at all about India.
