990cr or 1500cr is peanuts based on indias potential. India should target atleast minimum 2 billon dollar worth of goods. Whats the big deal in selling trucks ,spare parts ,castings, nuts,bolts ...etc Fact is our car segment is more sophisticated than this.
Lets stop comparing with pakistan, it looks ridiculous our economies are world apart. May be india should focus on selling short range missiles, Dhruv/LCA or tanks, offshore vessels ..etc.
