instead of abstaining they should have voted in favor of resolution,who is currently losing more,is it India or Iran

They r losing every friend they used to have,first Russia and now clouds on the relation between them and India,all thanks to their foolishness.

Both Iran and India, need each other. As the cookie has crumbled, it seems India needs it more even though the Govt might think otherwise but access to Afghanistan and Energy security are too big issues to be bartered away by some Obama talk which might deliver nothing.

Both need each other. Remember we have a lot of commercial consumer trade with them. The last thing India would do is to listen to some third country to stop our policy. This reaction was simply a tit-for-tat response to what their supreme leader had said about our internal matter.

Iran, India and Russia are joint partners for north-south corridor agreement as an alternate to Suez corridor. We recently welcomed Iranians alongside Russians to participate in Afghanistan situation.

Relations are always more than a few words unless they become infested with some seriously short-sighted ideologies. And Iranians as well as we know this very well.

You are mixing two separate spheres of global dynamics here; trade and military conflict. Never mix the two as it would cloud your analytical thinking. The grapple for resources is totally a trade aspect. Iran knows what it can get from us is an additional revenues apart from what it can earn from China and Pakistan and other countries.

Any additional revenue in trade is always welcome.

Military and foreign affairs is totally different. Again, the Government of Iran doesn't have this as a formal policy against us. It is one leader who mentioned something in his speech.

Who the hell gave you or any other Indian this viewpoint right of not mixing this and that. Dont be so stupid.............

Just like India likes mixing different issues and overlaps them to use for its advantage, that is how other countries work as well........

India's actions will only lead to Iran leaning more and more towards China overall, as China has proven to be an ally who can be relied upon, as Iran's recent experience with the S300 saga has shown.......

This is a very welcome message from Iran and it appears that both Pakistan and China have both realised this............

The idiots response to this situation will be to cut of ties with Iran and make an unnecessary enemy over the Kashmir issue. Best thing to do, sing the pipeline agreement asap, increase defense interaction and support Iran even more. Make Iran realize their own mistake, thats the best way to do it. Trying to cut of ties with Iran will only fuel the issue further.

We definitely need Iran to gain access to Central Asia ( Chabahar Port )

IMO Iran got a bit nervous with Obama coming here and doing his "relationship that'll define the century" thing.

Iran moving further away from India is a big bonus for China.

Sooner or later, China will have transit agreements for energy resources to pass through Pakistan into China.......something which India is in desparate need to for its energy consumption appetite. With a growing economy this hunger will just grow further.

China will take full advantage of this and rightfully so.....

Indian War Crimes in Kashmir should not go unheard or unpunished.........Iran should speak up as it has done already....

In the coming years, the train transit from Pakistan, Iran to Turkey will be up and running.........China is already interested in this train line to come up north into China and India too has offered its interest......not so any more if Iran doesn't agree.............

Things work both ways and Iran too has many cards to play undermining Indian influence from spreading West of its borders...........

I am all for Indo-Iran friendship but the Iranians are taking us for granted now . they have spoken against India on kashmir many times now .

We have to start acting like a tough power and let them know ,its not on.

Most Indian do live in fool's paradise..........they are struggling with the recent economical boom and think the world is at their feet. This again, shows how the Indian are living on cloud 9 and need to come down from their high horse and stop talking rubbish....which is becoming a common trend amongst them.......

This fracture is good for Pakistan and China......hopefully this will put a halt to any Indian plans of expanding its influence to the West of its border and China taking full advantage on India's behalf.......Politics played by fools in India again...........

also china voted in faver of resolution has made it clear that even the mega chinese investment in iran will going to be halted.....

russia has also resently stoped the S-300 deal with iran......
