ah, indian logic, who cares what egypt/jordan do?
how is that relevant to india?
One comment back, you were comparing Ecuador's actions (which anyways didn't do ****) to that of India's. And now you are shying away from comparing the actions of Egypt and Jordan to that of India's?! Why? Because that does not suit your bias? Lame.
so how can india be committed to palestine if it is basically never willing to offend israel?
to what extent does this commitment exactly go to?
So, for a country to be committed to Palestinian cause, it must
A) Expel Israeli ambassador
B) Illegally ship arms to Hezbollah the way Iran does
C) Develop nukes and drop them on Tel Aviv
Right?
It is because of this mentality that peace in Middle East remains elusive.
the only reason hindu india sympathises with palestine is because they identify with post colonial issues that have roots in the british empire which is something all indians are against, as anti islamic sentiment in india is increasing so is pro palestinian support decreasing.
"Post-colonial issues"? Like what? Why would India still cling on to sentiments on issues which took place more than 6 decades ago?
India sympathizes with the people of Gaza and West Bank solely on humanitarian grounds.
That said, India might not be one of the strongest supporters of the Palestinian cause, but it surely wants to see both Israel and Palestine peacefully co-exist next to each other. And India surely feels this need to enhance its historic ties with the Arabs.
And so far, Indian efforts seem to be paying off as it one of the only few major powers which enjoys great relations with both Israel and Arab nations.
