India sets eyes on Russian Sprut light tanks to counter China, gets rare access to trials

I wonder what the criteria is to obtain a TT title on pdf...display the most stupidity!!

IA never claimed it was gonna paradrop light tanks with crew inside...this media outlet obtained info from what the Russians and Russian media outlets claimed that they're future armoured vehicles and parachutes will be capable of paradropping em with crew inside. Again, it's a futile argument when you're filled with blind illogical hatred. Try taking off those green glasses
I'm pretty sure successfully ridiculing Indians is a major eligibility check. Whats the fun in an eternal rivalry if we can't even poke fun at your piss drinking nation?

Tanks usually don’t go alone, they are supported by infantry and artillery. After a Barrage of artillery, only thing left moving on the battle field will be Tanks. So tank vs tank are relevant. Attack helicopters are vulnerable to Sams.

ATGMs will knock those tanks out before they can even think of pushing any further
@Zapper - @dbc is biased against India. You should see his / her other posts to see what he / she thinks about India.

In PDF, where knowledgeable people are lacking, he / she comes out as knowledgeable. No point arguing with him / her.

Being against India doesn't make one not knowledgeable lol

The ability & caliber of people can be assessed based on the conclusions / judgements they make. Ability & caliber will determine what / where that person could in real life.

This post is not directed to you.

My belief is - any person worth their salt (& time) won't be at some places in internet (includes myself).

PS: my last post on this topic.

True , but one can work at work at NASA or even be a CEO and still hate India cause in the end of the day it's kinda their opinion.

Please stop discussing me, I am not biased against India.
I have a low regard for India. There is a difference, when judged by any meaningful metric India is a failure as is Pakistan.

I have a lot of respect for East Asians, China, Japan, S.Korea and Vietnam. The reason is obvious, despite adversity these nations have made a better life for their citizens. I'm well read on the history of these nations and overall I'm convinced India will teeter from one crisis to the next until it unravels. Sorry if it offends but that is my informed opinion.

If India breaks, then that is the beginning of balkanisation of South Asia.
Pakistanis think that breaking India will work out for them, it will not.

All the other countries you mentioned has mostly homogenous population, India does not.

The news media & social media are doing great great dis-service to India, by projecting it in very bad light. There is a great liberal lobby working on showing India in a bad light.

The 24 hour news channels (that always sells negative news) & similar social media giving totally opposite picture.

Maybe, India needs a strong organization like ISI (kidding).

Lately, I also started to believe that liberals / socialists / communists will finish off India. I tend to agree there with you.

However, I pray to GOD that it won't happen.

None nether China nor Japan nor Korea have a “homogenous” ethnic population.
they have a homogeneous national identity and values. But this is cultivated not inherited and it isn’t really an excuses for the failure that is India and Pakistan. They survived immense trauma in the last hundred years, invasion, famine, war and turmoil and yet they have far outpaced both nations.

Pakistan is hell bent on making - "hindus & Muslims can not live together" true. Their entire actions for the past 70+ years is to validate this and make it true (sorry Pakistanis- I am not trolling).

India has chosen socialism (nehru) over capitalism (Patel; Rajaji & others). They negated the concept of nationalism. Believe it or not, India did not have a conservative/ right wing govt till recently. Till recently, politics in India are leftist & center- leftist, never center-rightist / rightist.

Many years ago, I read somewhere to the effect that- all countries in South East Asia & elsewhere has become rich first and then gave political freedom to their people. India is doing reverse. The author says that giving political freedom, when people are poor with strife never worked. The author is interested in how India will work this out in reverse (please note that I am not quoting the author verbatim, but you got the idea).

Even Deng Xiaopeng wrote about giving political freedom to Chinese after making them rich. India is giving lots & lots of political freedom, while people are poor.

Any reformist idea in India is encountering stiff resistance (for ex: "farmers" protests happening in India). Too much right to protest.

Many years back, I was in Bangalore working for a software company. Somedays, I had to work very late into night and had to ride my bike back in the night. The street dogs used to run after me wanting to bite me (they become so aggressive at nights). Why are the street dogs not "removed"? Because some people had too much time & money to protest the removal of street dogs. It is another matter that those animal activists never had to ride bikes at night.

I am very happy in USA now, but fear that USA is going India's route (socialism). This fear (coupled with person sitting in white house + VP + Pelosi + AOC etc) worries me. I console myself thinking that (by nature) human beings destroy every thing good. Many mighty civilizations have crumbled due to hitting hubris.

Enough from me.
