Dont worry, i know this SCO is not anti-US or west and that is why India has applied .Lets see what happens in future. I am of the view SCO will take regional cooperation to a new height.

SCO is not a military bloc and will never turn into one . Its a dream for some fanboys here on defence.pk

Why would Russia and central asia like to fight Pakistan and China's wars ?

China has a lot of interests in seeing a secure Pakistan. Russia has the same interests in seeing a secure Afghanistan and Pakistan (more Afghanistan).

It is due to their location. Russia and China would need each other because both of them combined are a much stronger force than one.

Plus even in Afghanistan conflict Russia , central Asia and Pakistan are on completely the opposite sides .

Complete ignorance.

Russia is improving its relations greatly with the West now and central asians have had good relations with the west for quite some time now , so it ill not turn into an anti west military bloc of any kind.

Get real guys.

I do however believe this is a good organisation for economic and cultural co-operation which India must join if given the oppurtunity particularly because it gives us an oppurtunity to improve ties with China and maintain our friendship and alliance with Russia and Central Asian countries.

SCO is a military organization whether you like this or not. It has been admitted. How will they act from a perceived threat by a non-SCO nation isn't known.

India can join or not. It won't make any difference to SCO, but it will not help their interests in Asia.

Things does'nt go like that my friend. The SCO has made clear its not anti to anybody. It might be in future and India will have the option to leave it. I have seen enough of Indian diplomacy and i assure you that they would have made sure before applying for this.

We have always been a force of serving the peace and property of the region, unless challenged to a fight. We do not serve the interest of the US as PAK does. We are independent and we are no ones pet.

Indians will never understand why, even though it's been reported a lot.
