the design is a bit archaic.

What is interesting is that the Faisal mosque was funded by Saudis at a cost of about 100 million in today's money, and that it was shaped to look like a Bedouin tent.

The architect did a good job,and the landscaping is neat.

the article mentioned mughal gardens, so we are in for a treat!

Its Indian internal matter of India (Either Hindu or Muslim ) If you really worry about muslims then think about your best friends citizen first ....

Perhaps it can be made modern as well..
not in architecture since it looks gorgeous already.
but in terms of monitoring technlogies.. crowd control..
filtration plants.. multiple wudu areas with hygienic booths..

One can imagine the crowd on eid.. and Juma..
So lots of camera's and intuitive placement of barriers must be looked into.
