India’s arms mostly target Pakistan

Actually, the claims made by the Indian Army are pure trash.

Battle of Longewala: Truth must be told

The movie is historically inaccurate. The army did not fight as much as they do in the movie. In reality they just fought to hold ground until IAF HAL Marut and Hawker Hunters came, mainly against an ill-prepared enemy, whose tanks were bogged down in sand, and were afraid to advance because they suspected the presence of a minefield.

But there was fighting nonetheless, and the post was surrounded completely.

And what overall effect did Longewala had on the outcome of war in the Western Sector. !!

Your commanders were talking about taking over Jaisalmer 48 hours after crossing the border.

but Indian friends say the threat to them is from China -

Sir, the India China border is not conducive for a long ground war. The Himalayas form a very high threshold crossing which requires rethinking many times. While Pakistan India border is just the opposite esp in Punjab and Sindh. Also Chinese have not done a Kargil yet.

but Indian friends say the threat to them is from China -

That is not true. The Chinese are not likely to strike India militarily in the near future. Pakistan is definitely the clear and present threat. But most Indians do not want to give Pakistan the credit for it.

No , US didnot provided any proof .

A US senator said India is using afghanistan as another front against pakistan. But he never said we are supporting terrorism .

Yes we ask for proof while pakistan blabber BS.

So this kid want US to blam India that they are supporting TTP and BLA with arms, agents and money....:sick:
Pakistan didnot blabbed like your BS on samghota and mumbai attacks.....

We didnot blabbed . We showed proof and entire world accepted it .The largest proof among them is now enjoying a six feet hole under the ground in Yerwada Jail in Pune.

Listen fan boy, enough of your freaking nonsense, i just know where to stick that needle but knowing your kind, you will probably enjoy it.....you are nothing more than the balloon that's full of hot air.....your post have no logic or material.....what did you achieve in the other thread except your usual ranting like the drama queen that you are....just stick to what you are good at......rubbing up the other Indian members ....may be that's the only thing makes you a good boy.

We can understand your sheer frustration since you are busted often and get angry.Since you are in denial mode always you would never acknowledged any logic/fact.:P

i am aware that as a pakistani it must suk to have 'longwala' rubbed over your face occasionally, but you must admit that holding out against an armored foe who outnumbers you 20:1 using nothing but rifles is nothing short of spectacular. what is more amazing is that despite this, indians never say cr@p like: "1 hindu=10 muslims"

You evil Bharteee... you always try to rub anything on your superior martial race enemy.

Longewala is a story of extraordinary valiance.

The High Command gave a choice to the 100 Indian men to backtrack to a inner position since fighting with 2000 men + 60 odd tanks was not an good idea but Maj. Kuldeep Singh decided to fight even being heavily outnumbered by 20:1. They did their job by not just holding them for many hours but started pushing back too and killed 200 odd Pakistani soldiers while suffering only 2 of it's own soldiers.A kill ratio of 20 times!!! :cheesy:

Even though AF gave the last decisive punches the men on the ground gets FULL MARKS and salutes.:tup:

China is a bigger threat but not as foolish and immature as Pakistanis tends to be with their priorities wrong.China tried India in 87 and knows it's not an good idea for war. Also their priorities are on Eastern front. :coffee:

When your own officers are disputing the events as they have been portrayed by the frivolous Indian media, it leaves little room for imagination.... it was only after watching "Border", the fan boys started their habitual chest thumping....agreed IAF took out some 18 Pakistani tanks.....which were bogged down in sand and had no air cover....the only contribution by the IA was playing with sand models after the event.......isn't it ironic that the Mukerian Rail Yard devastation and the destruction of dozens of Indian tanks finds no mention in the Indian texts......well the facts become part of the history while others get satisfaction out of watching films.....surprised the Indians haven't bestowed the bravery award on their ultimate warrior.....sunny Deol. :omghaha:

Just check the news of the Chinese people rioting in the streets and you'll see what our priorities are.

- Diaoyutai
- Japanese war crimes
- Taiwan
- South China Sea

If India doesn't bother us then we have no reason to bother you.

The investigation of 2007 Samjhauta Express bombings is continuing and eventually the culprits will be arrested.

World has not got anything to do with it because only pakistanis and Indians died in the incident. So why should the world accept or reject it.

Quetta blast .........What has it got to do with any of this ???

Deccan Mujahideen was a false organistaion duped by 26/11 terrorists to hide the role of LeT in the attacks which failed miserably with the arrest of kasab.

i agree. i always maintained that the 1962 war was the greatest blunder china ever made. tactically perfect, strategically disastrous. it turned a potentially useful ally into a powerful enemy on a whole new front.

but Indian friends say the threat to them is from China -
Pakistan poses the least threat(ability to damage India) but highest probability to go to war.

China poses the maximum threat(ability to damage India) but least probability to go to war.

In China, there is civilian rule, which is focused on development, like India. India is not China's main adversary. China realizes a war with India would damage itself and both India, making Western countries the only beneficiary.

Lastly, even if both decide to go to war, the Himalayas stop the bulk of war, the war would be limited to a few skirmishes in the East and J&K. Himalayas protect India and China from each other.

Which ' inner position" ?

I think he meant this .

Directing Lt Veer's patrol to trail the advancing armoured column, Chandpuri got in touch with the battalion headquarters requesting urgent reinforcements and armour and artillery support. Battalion HQ gave him the choice of staying put, and containing the attack as much as possible, or carrying out a tactical retreat of the company to Ramgarh, as reinforcements would not be available for at least six hours.
