India, Russia ink S-400 missile system deal

USA is worried about BRI, the chinese initiative.. and chinese motive... cpec is just a project ...Pak yet looking for bailout package from IMF.... feeling proud because other countries trying to gain influence over you... abusing won't help you...
CPEC is part of BRI you idiot. CPEC is not just any project, but one of the most important parts of BRI.

Even USA has a huge amount of debt, your point is?

Indian economy is not doing that well either, don't utter crap here.

Whatever makes you sleep at night. ;)

Am not talking about debt, but bailout package... which means you are unable to repay.. CPEC is still part of BRI.. no matter how much you stress... and still a project... every country need more projects for sustainable growth..

India doing pretty good.. please don't bring this strategic location nonsense... Every major power try to get influence on small countries ( not population) for different purposes... China trying to gain influence in Africa, Asia and rest of world..

Bad news for Indian economy: Fresh private investments plunge 64% in Q2
Shrinking private investment is not good news for the economy, which is in a recovery mode

The bad loan problem, coupled with global headwinds like interest rate hikes in the US and continuing sell-offs in emerging markets, has started hurting the confidence of investors.

New investment announcements have declined in the July-September period for the second quarter in a row, show data compiled by the Centre of Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE).

Private and public sector companies together announced new projects worth Rs 1.49 trillion in the quarter which ended in September, 41% lower than the preceding quarter. On a year-on-year basis, the decline was less pronounced at 12%.

Fresh private investments plunged 64% in the quarter ended September, on a sequential basis. Compared to a year ago, the decline was relatively modest at 31%.

For the first time, the value of new projects announced by private players during the quarter was lower compared to those announced by the public sector.

The shrinking private investment is not good news for the economy, which is in a recovery mode.

The share of stalled projects also increased marginally during the July-September quarter. As much as 24% of all private projects remained stalled during the quarter under review.

The power sector was hit hardest, with the highest share of stalled projects at 35.5%, followed by the manufacturing industry which had 29.5% projects stalled.

Projects got stalled mainly due to lack of funding, fuel and raw material shortages and unfavourable market conditions.

On the bright side, project implementation gathered pace during the quarter. “There is a pick-up in implementation of projects, which will have a positive impact on GDP growth, though not so much on employment,” Mahesh Vyas, managing director and CEO, CMIE, told The Wire.

Also encouraging is the rise in new projects in the manufacturing sector, which witnessed a sharp recovery from the lows of the June-ended quarter. Yet, the value of new manufacturing projects in the September quarter is lower than what it was in the March quarter, data showed.

You don't have valid point to argue.. you are just changing your goal posts... living in denial mode is your problem... lol

As if anyone here thanking the pathetic religious cheapshot is even partially aware of missile flight dynamics, the Electronic environment, the tactics used and so on.

Then tell me something. It is you who is avoiding saying any arguments to me. lol

You don't have a valid point to tell me anything.

Who is the pathetic religious cheapshot?

Firstly every object has distinct radar signature. Radar signature of a JF-17 differs that from that of F-16, which in turn differs that from a drone. Radars these days have inbuilt threat library, which stores the radar signature of different aircrafts/missiles/drones etc. and when needed compare that to incoming threat and positively identify them.

Regardless of the fact, a low subsonic target drones or dummy decoys will flying at a much lower speed than fighter aircraft intending launch ARM.

Regardless of the fact S400 will not be a stand alone system, will be part of much wider air defence network consisting of Fighter aircrafts(to shoot down drone without giving up SAM positions), Akash , Spyder, Barak -8, AAD and PDV.

A JF 17 will be positively identified as soon as it takes off from anywhere in Pakistan, and so will the decoy drones.

A single S400 systems has 4 radars working in conjunction in each other so as to launch and guide 72 missiles at the same time.

So if you have 73 JF-17 and MAR-1 missiles to spare, such that they can launch a co-ordinated attack to overwhelm the defenses on a single S400 system, then of-course you have a solid chance.
Obviously this is based on the hypothesis the S400 system will be working alone without other IAF assets at its disposal.

Weather Chinese will allow you to test against their most advanced SAM, weather you will be able to find any weaknesses to exploit - is all conjecture.

The fact here is the Effective range of Pakistan ARM missiles is 3-4 times shorter than the effective range of S400 missiles.
1) The whole point of a decoy drone is to mimic the radar signature of an actual fighter aircraft. Otherwise how would it be a decoy idiot?
https://www.raytheon.com/capabilities/products/mald

2) It doesn't work like that in real combat scenarios. The S-400 will not be engaging 72 JF-17 with one missile per target - come back down to Earth.

3) The 40N6's 400km range will be for slow-moving, high-value aircraft like tankers, AWACS etc., if it really is effective at the stated range in the first place. Regardless, bulky missiles like that aren't for tactical aircraft, especially unlikely for aircraft as nimble as the JF-17.

Lol! Typical brain washed Indian.

The Bangladeshis blamed Pakistan for not doing enough to help them during and after that mad natural disaster. Mujeeb was trained in Moscow and that was the ideal time to strike. The USSR planned and executed 71. You were just their pawns.

Will you now take credit for killing Mujeeb and his family too?

You got no balls. You attacked after a natural disaster like the cowards you have always been.
Looks you are out of arguments.

Honestly this has to be the post of the year on this forum!!!
In my opinion that was post of the century

Facts are Facts !!!! Make it post of year. I don't care !!!!
Believe me that was post of the century.

The Brahmin indeed tells furious tales.

Why are you arguing with them? Their answer to everything is china will do this, china will provide that, cheen cheen cheen.

Wait, isn't your path to everything through Russia? You keep hoping to get topnotch toys from USA and/or Russia, but if Pakistan does that then it is somehow wrong?

Typical self absorbed Indian.

1) So tell us which supersonic decoy drone do you posses or are planning to develop, which accurately mimic the radar signature of your F-16s/ Jf 17s? and again don't form conjectures.

2) What do you think, when in range how many Jf-17s can a S400 engage in one go?

3) What about the 250 Km 48N6E3 missile, what is the range of your MAR-1 again?

Cheap one way drones in waves with the radar signature of known fighters can take care of any missile defence system

NEW DELHI:

The S-400 Triumf air defence system deal, inked by India and Russia Friday notwithstanding the US pressure of sanctions, can engage up to 36 targets at a time and simultaneously launch 72 missiles.

The long and medium range air defense missile system, which Air Force Chief B S Dhanoa said will provide a much needed "booster" to the Air Force, is designed to destroy air attacks, including stealth aircraft and any other aerial targets.

"The sides welcomed the conclusion of the contract for the supply of the S-400 Long Range Surface to Air Missile System to India," a joint statement released after the delegation level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladmir Putin said.

The delivery of the missile systems, tipped to be over $5 billion, will start 24 months from the signing of the contract.

Acquiring the missile system will help repulse the air attacks by India's adversaries, especially Pakistan and China.

The signing of the deal assumes significance as China, too, has signed a deal with Russia to procure the same missile system.

"This is the most lethal weapons system in the world and it provides four different types of layered air defence," Air Vice-Marshal (retd) Manmohan Bahadur told PTI.

However, the deal comes under the purview of Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA), which targets Russia, Iran, and North Korea.

India has conveyed to the US its necessity to procure this air defence missile system.

In 1999, the system was demonstrated for the first time at the Kapustin Yar practice range (the Astrakhan Region) to then defence minister Igor Sergeyev. The trials of the most advanced air defense missile system were carried out in the 2000s.

The missile system has been in service since April 2007.

The S-400 is based on the S-300PMU2 air defense missile complex.

The air defence missile system comprises a combat control post, a three-coordinate jam-resistant phased array radar to detect aerial targets, six-eight air defence missile complexes (with up to 12 transporter-launchers, and also a multi-functional four-coordinate illumination and detection radar), a technical support system, a missile transporting vehicles and a training simulator, experts said.

The S-400 system can also additionally include an all-altitude radar (detector) and movable towers for an antenna post, they said.

COMMENT
The target detection range of this system is up to 600 kilometres and its tactical ballistic missile destruction range varies from five kilometres to 60 kilometres.

lol it is quite interesting to see post of madarsa educated genius.

At least we have a Holy Quran to read and understand unlike you. All these Sciences has come from Muslims. (Chemistry,Alchemy,Mathematics,Biology,Zootany,Astrology,Philosophy,Economics, Geography,Physics,Engineering and even Political Science). Our Holy Book not only teaches us about religion but also about this universe and how it was created.
Science has come from muslims?
Why muslims are so backward in science?
