India "rejects" Canada allegations about its killing of Sikh Khalistani Leader

. . . .
India has influence as well, but only due to your numbers (population) and as a puppet against a Chinese threat.

Absolutely, This little dance has nothing to do with the killing, As if West cares about some brown sahib who got killed for whatever reason. This is a simple pressure tactic, something is going on in the background, Most likely India getting out of line and needs a little spanking to get back on track.
This story will eventually die down..

Actually, Sikhs hold a lot of clout in Canada and Canadian politics/parties. They are a large vote bank too. Sikhs come here in droves and have large families and are business/politic and job oriented. They do matter quite a bit to Canadian politics.

seems like another Khalistani terrorist is down in Canada...It is getting crazy every day...

I fully support them in killing those people outside, who are funding or involved in terrorist activity in India.
So you had no problem when the Indian Parliament, full of people who call for terrorism and death in Pakistan, was attacked in 2001?

Or perhaps you would like NATO to deploy its full forces to India's borders?

Yes they do but the Canadian govt. the reaction is out of the ordinary. I bet this news will disappear very soon and it will be business as usual. Western countries play lots of little games.

It's only out of the ordinary because it's the new norm. Sikhs are becoming more influential as each day passes in Canada, I'd say more so than Muslims and other groups.

Least we forget because of Canadian mishandling lead to 329 passengers getting killed in AI flight.

Canada apologizes over 1985 Air India bombing

VANCOUVER (Reuters) - Canada’s government apologized to the families of the 329 victims of the 1985 Air India bombing on Wednesday, saying authorities failed in their duty to prevent the tragedy.

A suitcase bomb destroyed Air India Flight 182 off the coast of Ireland on June 23, 1985, while the aircraft was en route from Canada to India via London. Most of the victims were Canadian citizens returning to India to visit relatives.

Their families have long complained about Canada’s handling of case, but the government had refused calls for an apology. There were mistakes in the case that the government “cannot defend (and) has no wish to defend,” Harper said.

Police believe the attack was the work of Vancouver-based Sikhs fighting for an independent homeland in India, who wanted revenge for India’s deadly 1984 storming of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Sikhism’s holiest shrine.
