India is not going to be going to war with France/Europe anytime soon so there is no such risk. During Kargil Israel and France stood by India and it was the Mirage 2000 raining down fire on the Pakistanis.Can you imagine what happens if India gets into a war. Boom, no more parts for Rafales.

This is now face saving by the India. What did the French say? Something like F**k Off....only in French???
This is how the dealings are done in some of the Asian - Indian cultures. The "deal" doesn't mean both the parties can make profit or promises or commitments, the deal only means the "Asian / Indian in this case, side gets everything and makes the other party cry and still be thankful that they sold something. This was bound to happen. Russians on the other hand, know how to deal with this and they know how to milk the Indian buyers in Indian style.
Mark my words, I won't be surprised if some Rafale don't make it to Pakistan in the next decade!!
