If India is going to loose Kashmir valley, it would ensure that GB & Pakistan held Kashmir would not stay with Pakistan either. Hence LOC as border is the most reasonable compromise.

With regards to bleeding, in the 1990s Pakistan had backing of US & China. USSR was gone with India losing its sole veto to rely on at UN. Indian economy was in doldrums then. Fast Forwarding, today India has support of both US & Russia and has a very good economy and military.

If India could withstand it in the 1990s it is much better placed to withstand it now.

That's why I am saying, as far as India keep bringing up GB, nothing gonna happen. As far as Bleeding is concerned, don't worry. Pakistan has a PhD in it. Both in insurgency and counterinsurgency. There is a reason both Arabs and Americans talks to Pakistan. Expertise matters. Even Russia is more scared from the central Asian threat than from Europe. Insurgency is contagious, once one Stan country go down, rest would be domino effect. Russian knows this, they also know their history. From Mongols to Afghanistan, their defeat came from the same route. So, ya. Best of luck with good economy and military thing.
