Exactly but if we test in response to a indian test/instigation then we will only be limited to the sanctions imposed upon india itself

If you think y'all would have fewer sanctions than us if you test a nuke in response to us, that is you being dumb because for countries like US, they wouldn't mind imposing sanctions on an equal scale irrespective of the country because we are all South Asians and neither of us are a strong ally to them.

The only country they may back off a lil bit is China as the economy of US is way too reliant on trade with China

In late 1990s neither india nor the U.S had any idea how far we had gotten with our nuclear development and once india tested it gave us the perfect reason and time to test our own weapon with sanctions limited to what sanctions were placed on india

Raad-1 Raa-2, Babur Babur-2, Babur-3.

11 types of Nuclear capable ballistic missiles.
Ghauri-1, Ghauri-2 , Shaheen,Shahee-1,Shaheen-1A,Shaheen-2,Shaheen-3,Abdali,Ghaznavi,Nasr, and Ababeel MIRV.
