Clearly you need to study more about India's role in B'desh independence. But you are on the right website. You and find multiple sources here in the military history section. You can even discuss with our Pakistani members here what role India played in the independence of Bangladesh.

If that is based on 1920 novel and written by any west bengal writer I can not say anything about that... I do not like that sort of tele serials... But would be prefer if you compare it with the modern ones.

What India is fighting in NE India??? They are aired in Bangladesh as part of package ... but no body watch them... n if you say that you are not aware of any bangladeshi channel it is a blod face lie... by you and you even know that... but many ordinary kolkatas people may not know as it is not aired in kolkata by the cable service provider with a fear that kolkatas channel will lost market... but if I am not wrong in around 2007 bd cable providers boycotted indian bangla channels on a fair as a protest for not airing bangladeshi channels in west bengal...

It's not aired because there's no demand.

Anyway I don't have a TV, I'll ask my mom if she knows of any BD channels. The only serial I know about is Gaaner Opaare.

Its funny that in 1971 india was a C graded poverty stricken dirt poor country with much less per capita gdp then both east and west pakistan is claiming that they have liberated east pakistan...

But 1 thing still bother me why instead of asking UN for referendum... for independence why shaikh mujib gave such speech on 7th march... west pakistan did wrong by not handing over the power... but not asking UN for referendum was a great mistake... It would reduce the chance for hostile separation and reducing and weakening pakistans chance of war on east pakistan. It would save bd's economy and bd would be in much better position then India ... n who knows also then china as up to that point bd had also much higher per capita gdp then china.

From where BSF came here??? n honestly tell me how many people are killed on the Assam border??? most of the cold blooded murder happen on the western border ... where BSF kill innocent civilian who are hardly illegal migrants... mostly poor farmers or cow traders.

I have never talked about annexing Assam...Did I??? I always said what the people of Assam want that will happen. It is a fact that majority of the NE Indian want a separate state. But what I said is that as Bengalis are way to become majority and most of them has ancestors from present day Bangladesh who were brought there by the British or living their for centuries ... if NE India become separate they may prefer to marge with Bangladesh.

If you also look at my previous posts I have said Bangladesh government should remain neutral in this and ask to show the bengalis of Assam we are just like brother to them and we are always beside them. Thats it. Final decision will be taken by people of Assam and NE India.

A honest question to you... do you think India will be able to keep NE India if majority of the local people want separation???
